Whaaaaaaaa! I really thought David A. was gonna make it! I have cold sores from stressing! I will just have to take heart in the fact that HE WILL CONTINUE TO GO FAR! I need chocolate! There goes the diet!
They are both great singers - lots of talent. They will both go far. David A. definitely did better Tuesday - he sounded more mature to me than he has. But they both have huge fan support. For me, it was a toss up cause I liked them both. So I didn't really care which one won. (Course you all know my favorite is Brooke White). Tamara
Yep, it was a bummer. Jon said that technically he should have won cause he does have the better voice- ah well. I am sure he will have a great career- he's only 17 so he can do a lot with his talent!
If it helps, they're COMPLETELY different genres, so now that the show is over, they won't be forced competitors anymore. (And rest assured - Archuleta will get a lot of business by virtue of being LDS.) Their voices are equally beautiful, IMHO, (i.e., you can hear the training and quality in Cook's voice, too; he still uses it) - they're just COMPLETELY DIFFERENT - apples and oranges and all that.
And if *they* were both cool with either outcome, as were we (and Simon), I think they'll both be well taken-care-of :-).

Don't worry, the runner up always gets the better deal.
