Tall, taller and tallest!!

Trick or treating!

The Wicked Witch

The Cake Walk

Quick sit on a numbered chair!
Last night there was a Ward Halloween party at Stillman and Michelle's and Chris and Tammy's Ward. They invited us all. Traci and the kids are going to a party in Eagle tonight so I wanted them to come over cuz I wanted to see the kids in their costumes. It was so much fun. The kids costumes were great! Caden was the Star Wars character "Bobofat" the bounty hunter. He was very proud of his pick! He loves Star Wars. I can remember when he was smaller and we had sleep overs, that is all he wanted to watch....over and over and over......
The girls and Andrew were all pirates! They were darling little swash bucklers! Andrew even had the "Arhhhhhh" down! We ate a chili (and or chili dog) dinner followed by trick or treating inside. The kiddo's all lined up and then went from room to room. One room was occupied by a very scary witch! She was actually very funny! She would say things like "trick or treat, smell my feet" and then stick her foot over the table at the child standing at the door. When Sophia got to her door, she reached out and grabbed her and Isabel was behind Sophi and it scared her good! At that point she started to cry and would have nothing to do with the candy the witch was handing out. There was a haunted room with lots of fog and cob webs. The kids were in such a hurry to get out of that room that they skipped the candy there as well. They had a cake walk and all 3 got a cupcake that was very nicely decorated! The girls had their faces painted and then we went home. It was fun. I got some pictures of the other kids but will post them after out Halloween party tonight! SOoooo more to come of the little ghost and goblins!

A Busy Week end but Fun!

Sophia Andrew and Isabel

Andrew loved the musical ball

It's been a busy week end (as usual) but a fun one. Friday night I had to work late. Got off at 6PM, ran to Costco to pick up my new glasses and then rushed home to grab a quick bite and settle down to watch the BSU Bronco's win over San Jose! Yahoo! It was a long game and we were both exhausted when it was over. We got pretty involved in the game and it felt like we had played right along with the boys! We went to bed, but we were so wound up! We laid there in the dark for a while and then Tony said, "I have to read, I can't go to sleep" so we read several chapters in the Book of Mormon.

We got up today and after eating breakfast we went out to the yard. Tony was organizing his shed and I cleaned out all my pots and cut back some of my perennials. I was cleaning the patio when I got a nice visit from Traci and the kids. It was so nice. Haven't seen them for a while. We ate some lunch and then they left. Traci was going to a wedding.

After the kids left, I finished cleaning the patio and then Tony and I went to Cafferty's to get a new mirror for my bike. Then we drove to the church orchard and picked a bunch of apples. We also stopped at a farmers market on the way home and bought some onions and then on to Winco to buy some pumpkins. Now we are starving, so dinners in the oven, Tony's gone to help Kim Black get her car started and I'm blogging. After dinner, I'm going to bed early! I'm pooped!

Nicole's Last Soccor Game of the Season

PRESENTING THE BUMBLEBEE'S
Nikki called me this morning and said it was her last game and she wanted me to
go. I found out from Deedra that it was at 12:30. I told her I was running to Boise on some errands while Tony was blowing out sprinkler lines but I would meet her at the game. While I was at my 2nd stop in Boise I got a call from Deedra and she asked if I could take Nikki because Garrett was sick and throwing up :( I skipped the last stop and rushed home to pick up Nicky! Nikki was so cute and asked if I would take pictures. "You bet, Gramma loves her camera!" Here she is getting ready for "Kickoff".

Look at her go! 'Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!"

DARN BOY'S, YOUR HOGGING THE BALL!

Nikki : "Gramma, my coach said I need to get a drink of water"
Gramma: "Your mommy forgot to send your water bottle with me"

Nikki: "OK, I'll be all right"
Nikki: "Will you take a video of me?"
Gramma: "Well, I'm no Stephen Spielberg but I'll do my best!"

WE LOVE OUR BRONCO'S

We are celebrating another Bronco Win against Hawaii. It was a "MOST EXCELLENT" evening with the temperature in the 70"s at kick off ! Perfect!

This group of men were the National Jr. College Champions of 1958! Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco!

I tried to get a good play but my camera always shoots too slow! I got the touch down just as everyone in front of me stood up so I have a real close shot of a bunch of blue backs! LOL

Speaking of "Old Bronco's"....here we are leaving the game! Smiling and Happy!

PlEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES!!

I have repented and I want to apologise if I have offended anyone with a stupid e mail or slip of the tongue.I am sincerely sorry and am glad I've been made aware that I may have crossed the line. Please accept my apologies. Sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day tends to get boring. Sometimes I send things I think are funny or interesting just to be doing something. It won't happen again.
I love and appreciate you all and hope you can excuse my stupidity.

MY WEEK WITH ROWAN, HEATHER AND JON

I just returned from Arizona where I had the best time with the Larsons! I got to meet little Rowan Brady Larson for the 1st time and help Heather adjust to being a full time "Mommy". She is doing a great job! I was very proud of her! The day I got there she had Rowan dressed in a little T-shirt that read "If mommy won't, Grandma will" .....It was so cute and fun to meet him. He is a beautiful little boy!
He had this look ALOT! It was like he was thinking "Why do you guys keep flashing that bright light in my eyes?" He was so adorable! It was hard not to take pictures of every minute!

On Wednesday, we had to take him to a clinic to be circumcised. I think it hurt Heather as much as it did Rowan! He took it like a champ though and made only a couple of whimpers at the clinic. It was later when we changed his diaper's that he really let us know how un-happy he was with us and the whole situation.

On Wednesday evening (the day after I got there) the kids took me out to dinner at Carraba's to celebrate Rowan and my birthday! It was sooooo good! (By the way, I gained 3 and 1/2 pounds back while there so I'm back on the wagon again) but it was so worth it! When we got back home my glasses snapped in half from wear and tear! I had them taped together and looked like a total geek!

I enjoyed watching the new little family interact! They love this little guy soooo much! It was so satisfying to see! Made this ole mother proud as peas!!

We went to Costco and I bought some "Readers" to get by till I got home! They were great for reading but gave me a headache if I tried wearing them for anything else. I couldn't see long distances with them anyway so basically went without unless I was reading. Really classy huh?

I spent most of my time holding and loving this beautiful little "Birthday Buddie". He gets the hiccups just like me after every meal! He loved to eat! Poop! Sleep! He would be awake for a while and the cycle would start over again! It was great! Loved every feeding (especially the one's I got to do) every dirty diaper and of course loved to hold him when he fell asleep!
This is a bad picture but Heather and Jon got me hooked on "Bones" which I'd never seen. It was good! I wasn't able to get through all of the seasons that they owned but I got to see all of season one and most of season two. Very interesting!

It was so fun to watch Jon with the baby! He was so relaxed and easy going. I am just so proud of the way these two took to parenting! It was funny to hear Jon call Rowan by Miles name occasionally! (Miles is the dog) It was funny! Heather would just roll her eyes! Then one day I did it! She couldn't believe it! It was funny!

Heather would pump and I'd get to feed him so she could catch up on some ZZZZZZZZZ's! I loved feeding him! He sure reminds me of Heather when she was a baby!

After feeding's I'd just sit and hold him and look at his beautiful little face! So angelic!

They also had me watch "The Office"..... They had rented the 4th season from Netflix so I started at the end but by the time I finished watching that season with them, I was hooked! They owned One and Two and I watched all of them! What a funny show ! If any one has season 3 that I can borrow, let me know!

It was so funny to see all the personalities . I guess I can relate somewhat because I work in an office and there are definitely all kinds of personalities! Not this extreme mind you! These guys are CRAZY!
The weather was extremely hot the 1st few days (3 digit's) but on Saturday it cooled off really nice! It even sprinkled a little bit! After watching Conference we went to a little park and Jon took some pictures. It was a beautiful and we had fun. I took this one and I'm sure not the photographer Jon is but I love it cuz it's my baby with her baby!

We didn't get everything done that we wanted to but Heather wanted me to show her how to make chocolates so she could give them to people in her ward that had helped her out with meals etc! I have to admit.....we ate a couple ourselves. (They had something to do with the 3 1/2 pounds I gained back) We were going to re-upholster her couch but with all the baby duties, we just didn't get around to it. Loving baby was funner and more important anyway!

After his umbilical cord fell off, we gave him his 1st bath in the tub. As you can see he loved it........NOT! He liked getting out and wrapped back up in a warm towel though!
I just want Heather and Jon to know how much I appreciate them letting me come and enjoy the week with their new little family! I loved every minute of it and thoroughly enjoyed meeting my little "Birthday Baby". Although I was happy to go home, it was hard to leave. I cried at the airport before Heather and Rowan drove away! At least she waited till I was out of site! Thank you for everything! Especially out new little grandson! HUGS AND KISSES!!
