I teach the 11 to 12 year old girls in Primary! This year I have 14 girls and we are studying the Book of Mormon. I challenged the girls at the 1st of the year to read the Book of Mormon and if they did we would have a pizza party and movie at my house at the conclusion. Well I had 6 girls who completed it and the rest are still trying but I gave in and held the party anyway. Sister Kim Black has the class just younger than mine and she had challenged her girls as well so we combined the party with the 2 classes. We sent out invitations 2 weeks ago and asked them to RSVP. I heard from all but 1 of my girls so I was expecting 13 to show. Kim wasn't sure on her class so we prepared ourselves to be bombarded by 27 girls! YIKES! In actuality, only 15 showed, Rather disappointing, especially when some that said they were coming and didn't show up! It was a rather high pitched evening if you can imagine girls of that age
squealing and laughing from 6PM to 9PM! Fun night for the girls and we enjoyed watching them

Tony was such a big help. He went and got the pizza's while I stayed to let our guests in and here he is serving up brownies to the young ladies!

We watched Passage to
Zarahemla in keeping with our Book of Mormon theme! As you can see, it kinda scarred some of them! It was so funny to watch them jump and squeal! At 1st, Kim thought I'd made a mistake in picking this movie but in the end she agreed that it was very good and all enjoyed it!
These two sat in front of us and kept hugging each other as the intense scenes came on screen!
It was funny to watch them!

How fun! You have such a great set up for movie watching. I bet the girls had a blast!
Looks like you all had fun! I went to Relief Society after Sunday School and was invited to be a Visiting Teacher for our branch. How neat! It's a new step for me. Chris also has been paired up to have 4 families to teach to as well! Neat-o!
