Tony and I have been trying to decide what to do about our future. I joked about sending him to Iraq with Curtis when he was 1st put on a temporary lay off but now it is actually one of our considerations. (Not so funny now) Last night we visited with Mom and Dad Norton and then went to Deedra's to talk to her. Curtis just happened to be on line talking to her so he gave us some leads. The company he is working for has a hiring freeze at the moment but he gave us a couple of other company names as well as a fellow to speak with here. We will also probably take a couple of days next week and go to Eastern Idaho (Twin Falls, Idaho Falls & Pocatello) and he will sign the books there. We may also go to Utah and check there as well. The draw back with those places is he has to find a place to live and pay room and board as well as his travel back and forth. All we do know for sure is there is NOTHING here. We are just not sure what it is we should do. We are praying about it and appreciate all of your prayers on our behalf. SCARY TIMES !

Well Utah would be ideal - then he could use the Condo. We will definitely keep you in our prayers. Chris is running into the same problem - there is nothing here to apply for. We're sure hoping he can get on at the IRS. Even if we have to move - that's okay. Gotta do what ya gotta do.
Yes, we thought about that but then there's the food and travel back and forth to take off the top. If he were to get something in Eastern Idaho he thought about using Grampa's camper but he would have to find a place to park it ect....just not sure what to do yet. Will check all our options (which are not many)
Ugh! Making those life altering decisions are so difficult! We know you will find the right path, though it might not be the easiest one. Many of us can relate to that!. Keep us updated, and again, let us know if there is anything we can do to help. We love you!
I hope you find something that works well for both of you. You're good people, the Lord will take care of you!
Well, I hope the hiring freeze is just for the plumbers not the electricians and that Dad is able to get through with that recruiter.
Good luck! We love you!
Oh LaVerne, I am so sorry. We would love to welcome you over to the Eastern side of the state (the less crowded side) We have loved Idaho Falls. Good luck. We'll keep you in our prayers!
Hubby & I are throwing out vote in for TX or thereabouts - lots of hiring & stuff going on there, and you'd be able to be together...
Well.. Kannie! I love what she had to say, you two can stay with me and Chris!!! We are sure very fortunate to have the jobs we have now. I know Chris' job isn't going anywhere, and the site that I'm working a actually let go of quite a few people. Marc (my companion) and I are a little nervous with what they can possibly do with our accounting department. They might have to let one of us go. You're in our prayers.
I received your letter, thank you for the information.
you are wonderful!
