This sounds good to me - but if we lower it a couple of years, even more jobs created !!
(I'd do it for my country !)
There's about 40 million people over 50 in the work force; pay them $1 million a piece severance with stipulations:
1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings -
Unemployment fixed !
2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered -
Auto Industry fixed !
3) They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage -
Housing Crisis fixed !
Some people make things so complicated when they don't have to be !
A LOT LESS THAN THE BILLIONS GIVEN TO BANKS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES !

It sounds nice, except what do the people who are already retired get? Now that their retirement is gone from the poor market, they could use some help too. I like where your heads at, though!
