Each office is planting a "Victory Garden" like they did in World War 2. We will then share the produce with temps this fall. The idea is "If we can't offer them a job, we will offer them things they may be in need of." We are also cleaning out our closets etc and we will be having a "Flea Market" and the temps can come and select things they may need. Each office is also making a "Comfort Quilt" and there will be a drawing this fall and one lucky temp will be the recipient. We are trying to involve the clients and hoping they will join in and donate as well.Yesterday, we planted 4 tomatoes. Today we planted pumpkins and two varieties of squash. Tomorrow we will put in Zucchini, cucumbers and red and green peppers. It's been fun. Not a usual day at work!
