It was a busy weekend. I delivered birthday gifts on Friday night to two son-in-laws and then went home to wrap Christmas gifts and get chairs set up for the Relief Society luncheon that was at my house on Saturday at 1PM
Mom and her sister Joyce sang a couple of Christmas carols as part of the entertainment after the ladies ate and then we all sang some carols in preparation for the caroling we were to do for the home bound sisters. It was a fun afternoon but due to the snowstorm that morning, we only had 32 of the 42 show up.
Then Saturday evening I went to the yearly Christmas party at the Bostroms home. They throw quite the party .......
We all bring a dish and we eat ......
And we visit and then we have a "white elephant" gift exchange that is so much fun. There is always a gift that has been re-gifted from the previous year. I re-gifted the "breast enhancement cream" that I got last year!YES, I SAID "BREAST ENHANCEMENT CREAM" !!!
I CERTAINLY DIDN'T NEED IT...... It was a blast and I'm sure it will be wrapped up again for next years party !
It snowed several times on Saturday. I managed to clear the driveway and walks before the party but it snowed again just before the women showed up and again after they left.
Dad Norton shoveled for me on Sunday after church so I fed him and mom.....

Sunday evening, Mom and Dad and I went to see Garrett.
He didn't look too happy when we got there......

Later, we were trying to get Jack to crawl so I told Garrett to pretend Jack was a puppy and feed him bread.

Garrett is on oxyogen and sometimes he even tries to push his tank around himself.What a little miracle he is. We sure love him and his brother and sister.

They were all so happy to be home from Salt Lake and out of the hospital and able to spend some time with daddy before he heads back to Iraq.

Hey nice background!! Man Garrett looks so sad. We are sick so we haven't been able to go see him. I couldn't see my kids keeping on that oxygen tank. What a good kid.
I hope Garret gets feeling better...and BTW that picture of Grandma Norton and her sister made me laugh because the wreathes behind them look like giant headresses :)
i'll take the breast enhancement cream- if i got that as a gift there is no way i would give it back! i would have used it up in like a week! hey- if there is any chance of it actually working- i'm all over it. :0)
Sounds like a busy but fun weekend. Sure glad you came over Sunday night. It felt good to have visitors and kinda get back to somewhat normalcy.
Oh... it makes me so sad to see Garrett with that big incision and oxygen tank. What a trooper.
