TONY'S TRUCK HAS SEEN MORE ACTION THAN HE HAS .....FORTUNATELY!!

Nate and Melissa and the kids came over tonight and Nate said Tony's truck had bullet holes in it. I know how Nate likes to joke around so I said "Yeah right!" and then Melissa confirmed it. So I went out and sure enough ......

We called Nates cousin who is a police officer and he came over. Took my name and address etc. He asked me when was the last time I'd driven the truck. If I cut anyone off etc. He determined that it probably was a 4-10 shotgun. He said if it happened at night when I was asleep I probably wouldn't have heard it anyway. He said it would have sounded like a vehicle backfiring. He did find the plug to the shell a ways down the street so he said they must have done it driving by at fairly close range.

Later I went for my walk and I saw my neighbor walking with her kids and grandkids. (It's Halloween night) I mentioned it to them and her son said he and a friend came home from the bar on Friday night around midnight. They heard the shot and saw a flash from the gun and then the pickup truck sped around the corner nearly taking out their mailbox. He said he didn't realize that they hit our truck.
WHAT'S THIS WORLD COMING TO??

TRACI'S DR & NURSE HALLOWEEN. PARTY

Traci did such a great job last year with the party for her work crew ...............So they asked her to host it again! She's sooooo lucky to have the use of this facility! I would do one every year if I had a place like this!!
Sophia was a Candy Corn Witch and Caden was Percy Jackson from Camp Half blood!
Isabel was an ice cream cone but Traci didn't have time to finish her head piece but it was still really cute!

Andrew was a BSU Football player!! (With a Binky???) lol

Traci was Jack Sparrow (gone blonde) and Jason was a tourist. (I told him he looked like the Muggle from our Harry Potter Potter! lol )

I was a clown .....

Jason and his dad!

Percy and his lighting bolt! He's a Demigod in training!

Sophia and her friend!

Me and Sophia! (Check out them shoes!!) You outta try walkin a mile in my shoes! I finally left at 8:15. I was tired of trying to get around in them babies and I wanted to wash my face soooooo bad!

This is a picture of the kids running from place to place on a treasure hunt!

When they finally found the treasure chest ...... Jack and her counter part handed out the goodies to the chitlins!

They had a couple of pinata's. This is Andrew trying his best to whack it!
It was still going strong when I left but this ole lady couldn't take any more! (Besides, my Honey was going to call me and I wanted to be able to hear him)
Happy Halloween ya all!

GRANDKID'S ARE A TREAT !

I had Stake meetings on Thursday night and before I went I stopped by Stillman's and dropped off a couple of small pumpkins to the boys. We grew them in our garden at work and the temps took several of them so I had enough to take to the Cleavers, the Floyds and the Norton's. There are a few still growing but are green so if they ripen up I'll hopefully have enough to take to the Butterfields and to Nephi.
Anyway, after giving Alex his he says "What's your favorite color?" I told him I like Red and Green .... He says "I'll be right back!" and off he runs ... and return with a picture colored green and a flower he picked from his mother's flower bed.
Awhhhhh, it was so sweet! Grand kids sure can melt your heart!
Sophia turned 10 on Thursday and so I missed her birthday because I was at my Stake meetings. She had some friends over and they made necklaces. Tony and I gave her a kit to make friendship bracelets. She can't wait to have her friends over to do these.
I can't believe she is 10 years old now! Man, these kids are growing up so fast!

I guess at the party, Traci had little BSU tattoo's. A very small BSU Bronco. Andrew kept telling her he wanted one on his chest. She said "OK, pull up your shirt" and he's say "NO, on my chest" and Traci said "OK, I'll put it on your chest but you have to pull up your shirt" ..... Then he points to his cheek and says "ON MY CHEST" ..... she laughed and said "That's your CHEEK!"
So Andrew got on on his chest ................

And on his cheek! He's a Happy Camper!

CHECK OUT WHAT I MADE !!

OK, I saw these at the Hobby Center and I really liked them so I did my own ....
I didn't put the faces on them and I still need to sand the sides a bit to rough them up and then I need to speckle them a bit but I like them A LOT!! I was thinking that I could use them for Halloween AND Thanksgiving if they didn't have the faces. Then I thought I could still put the faces on once side and use that at Halloween and then turn them to the plain side for Thanksgiving. What do ya think??

REDNECK MOVE !!

I had another busy weekend! I hope my friend decides to quit moving soon. This is the 3rd move in three months and I think that's sufficient! lol
Yesterday we went to Eagle and Doc Campbell and his two grandsons helped us. He had a small red truck parked on the other side of ours and it was full too.
I felt like a redneck cuz there was masking tape holding things together so it wouldn't blow out!!
Thank goodness for these two young men and their grandpa or we'd have been at it ALL day! As it was we started at 10AM and we packed it up and took it to Nampa and unloaded it and were done at 1:40. I then went home and ate some lunch and then went to the rec center to walk for 45 minutes.

Its a beautiful path way and I've been walking every day for two weeks now.

I like this one because I feel safe and sometimes I go on my lunch break when I know I've got things at night to do. I've also gone on the Nampa Christian School track but they usually have kids on it now that schools going. I have also just walked from home to Lions park and around it several times.
I've started the 8 week challenge and tomorrow starts my 3rd week. I've lost 9.5 pounds so far and I hope to make a Krista out of myself and just keep going!!!
Anyway's I was sooooo tired last night that I fell asleep during the BSU game!
SHAME ON ME!

MY HOUSE PROTECTOR

I got home from walking last night and I noticed this little fellow on the top of the porch. He's not really a little fellow .... He was about 2 1/2 inches long!! He was walking along the ledge (upside down) and his front leg would reach out and grab those little bugs that seem to hang out out in the fuzzy crap that gets all over your house ...... (well, it gets all over mine anyway) and eat them! I thought they were called a Katydid and so I looked it up on line and sure enough! I guess they are predominately a nocturnal insect but it was a bit overcast last evening and he must have been hungry so he ventured out before dark! lol They are related to grasshoppers and crickets and they have a loud mating call. (my kind of bug! he he) Just thought he was interesting!

THE BIG ONE PAID OFF !!

I went to the bank today and paid off our Line of Credit! Awhhhhhh! What a great feeling! Our sacrifice is paying off and we are a little over a month to being debt free! I love my husband so much for the wonderful attitude he has had through this long year. He is truely an example of strength and endurance to me!

Hug and kisses to you Tony!

CONFERENCE SUNDAY ~

I invited my friend Mary to come over and watch conference with me today. She is fairly new in the church and doesn't know a lot about the doctrine yet. She informed me that this was the 1st conference she has watched and listened to. She was very moved and asked me a lot of questions. She said she felt like a lot of the speakers were talking directly to her. So glad I had her over.
She didn't know that I had started the 8 week challenge and she brought me some zucchini muffins. I asked her if there was anyone else she could give them to because I was trying really hard to stick with the program and then I told her about it. She wasn't offended and said she was proud of me. After the 1st session she went to visit a couple of friends and gave the goodies to them. I went walking for my exercise and then we both met up back here to watch the 2nd session.
I told her I'd made her lunch!! ha ha (It's a felt hamburger that I made her with all the fixins!)

She said it looked delicious!! Then I fed her an Oriental chicken salad. I'm sure it was much better than the felt food! lol
It was a good day!!

THREE BIRTHDAYS IN A ROW BUT ONLY MADE IT TO THIS ONE~

Well, we had 3 grandsons with birthdays the end of October but I only got to Garretts!~ Hawkins was on the 28th, Garretts on the 29th and Teancum was the 30th. Happy birthday to all of our little grandsons! Wish I could be with you all on your special day but your just too far away! :(

Hawk and Teancum just turned 5 and Garrett 4 !
Garrett had a Batman Birthday. His Mom and Aunt Tammy made him a darling Batman cake! (which , by the way, I turned down...) so proud of myself! lol

He was ONE HAPPY BATMAN WHEN WE SANG TO HIM !!
He got a pillow with BuzzLight Year on it from Gramma Butterfield. Tony and I gave him a BuzzLight Year electronic game and he got another Buzz spaceship toy. He did get a batman figurine too.

It was a fun evening with the family! Can't wait to see the blogs on Hawkins and Teancums birthday party!! (That's a hint Jill and Rachel) lol
I hurried home at 8:15 to talk to my honey!
That PRESENT was for me. I love you Tony!!
