My SweetHeart's Gone Again ~ :(

Two weeks go fast when your havin fun! Tony left this morning to head back to Mosul. Good news is that this is the LAST TIME! Yay! 4 more months and he'll be done! We accomplished our goal of paying off our home and now it's just earning some extra cash to supplement my income when he returns because we don't know how long it will be before he finds work here at home!
We had a great time while he was here but it would have been even better had he been feeling 100%! He caught a nasty cold the 1st week he was home and it pretty much wiped him out!
Still we managed to take in a trip to the Temple, a few movies, visiting with all the family and some dinners out on the town.
His parents came to the house this morning & visited a bit before we left for the airport at 9AM.
Colby, Krista and Nephi met us at the terminal and we had a good visit before he went through the check in area!
I STOLE A FEW KISSES! AFTER ALL, THIS HAS TO LAST ME TILL THE END OF MAY!

Dad and son # two! And of course Nephi and Krista!

After Tony took off, I went to the Temple and enjoyed the peace and serenity. It's so much more enjoyable when my hubby is with me but I love to go and I felt like I needed to be there.
I need all the help I can get with my man gone and the new calling I have at church. (YW President) I'm sure it will keep me busy and the next 4 months will fly!!
I LOVE YOU TONY!

YAY!! THE WEEKEND IS NIGH!!

I've been working all week (which proved to be a good thing since Tony has been ill) but he is finally starting to feel like doing something and it's FRIDAY!!
YAY!!
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we stayed home and watched movies in the evening while he rested and tried to get over his cold. Yesterday, he was feeling OK and he had an appointment at Dr. Glaettli's at 3:30. I've been leaving work around 2:30 or 3 all week so I went with him and we both ended up getting an adjustment! Afterwards, we drove into Boise and dropped my ring off at Simmon's to be fixed. (I have a couple of prongs that are smooshed together) and then we went to Deseret Book and SeaGull Book and he made a purchase.
Then we ate dinner at GoodWood! Yum :-)

We then went to Costco and he bought 3 new shirts and then to Wal-Mart for some cold medication.

We were on our way home and I called Colby and Krista to see if we could drop by so Tony could see their new apartment. We did and had a good visit with the kids!
After getting home, I downloaded his camera and we placed an order at Costco Photo. He is suppose to take back photo's to some of his co-workers!
I am only working 1/2 day today so when I get off we are going to the Temple with Art and Lynn and Bob and Joyce. Maybe dinner and a movie later!
YAY! I've been dying to get out and do some fun things while he's home!
GLAD HE'S FEELING BETTER!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!

Heather gave me this book for Christmas and it is sooooooo GOOD!
I love the character Sarah Agnes Prine. She is an uneducated woman with a TON of wisdom!!
I love the way she describes things and her feelings. One of her quotes is the following......

"Children are a burden to a mother, but not the way a heavy box is to a mule. Our children weigh hard on my heart, and thinking about them growing up honest and healthy, or just living to grow up at all, makes a load in my chest that is bigger than the safe at the bank, and more valuable to me than all the gold inside it."

It is one of the best books I've read in a long time. Anyone interested in borrowing it from me can.

WELCOME HOME TONY & HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TWO BUTTERFIELD'S~

My sweetheart flew home for a couple of weeks last Friday. He was suppose to get in at 12:30 (noonish) but was waylayed at customs in Atlanta so he missed his flight! It all worked out OK and he was here by 2:35 in the afternoon on Friday! Because of the delay in the arrival time, none of the kids were able to make it because children were napping, or coming home from school. BUT, Art and Lynn and Bob and Joyce were all there so we had a nice welcoming committee for him! lol
We celebrated a couple of birthdays on Saturday night at the Butterfields home. It was Nikki's on the 11th and Deedra's is today. It was fun cuz a lot of the kids came so Tony was able to see them that evening.
Here's Nikki .... our birthday girl! A big 7 years old!
Her gifts and cake!
And here's Nikki with the other birthday girl! Her mommy Deedra!
And here's Tony and the kids that were at the party! Melissa wasn't feeling good so we'll catch up with her this week!
It's GREAT having my hubby home! I haven't laughed this hard for 4 months!!

I LOVE MY IPOD TOUCH !!!

Tony and I each got an Ipod Touch for Christmas! I am so computer/technical illiterate that I didn't know how to download anything to it! Traci was going to come over to help me get started but she has been so darn busy it didn't happen. Then on the 1st when Ellie and Isabel got baptized, Traci asked me to come out early and she would go through the apple program with me and show me what I needed to do. I did and I took notes so when I went home I headed straight for the computer and tried to download the apple program. I actually thought I had done it but still couldn't get the program she showed me to come up. Then this past Sunday evening, Stillman, Michelle and the boys came by. I had asked Stillman if he would put the little refrigerator back in the shed for me so he came to do it.
I asked him if he knew how to download to the Ipod (duh? that was a dumb question .... all of Tony's boys are computer genius's) He looked at the computer and I didn't have the program in at all. lol Whoda thunk it?
He got things rolling for me and I've been downloading all mu CD's with a vengeance ever since!!
Isn't it lovely .... Hmmmmm .... I believe that's a song I have on here! lol
I bought a pink protective cover for mine and a black one for Tony! We'll be busy downloading to his when he gets home. So far I've put 1055 songs on mine and I'm not even close to being done! It's so awesome!
Lucky me!!!

We had finger foods and of course cake!
Michelle and Brigette looking so cute! I'm sorry girls, my camera needs to be set differently! I've blurred all my pictures! Maybe I'm just getting shaky in my old age! None the less, you both look cute as a button!
Jeremy looks angelic! lol

And here comes the cake!! Jayden is ready to help mommy put out the fire!

And he did it! Good job Jayden! Getting practiced up for the big # 3!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!

2 BAPTISMS ON 1/1/11

Well, we started the 1st day of 2011 off on the right foot with 2 of our granddaughters getting baptized!
Ellie was baptized at 10AM this morning by her father Nathan.
It was very nice and the Stake house was packed! Ellie had a big family turnout with most of her Aunts and Uncles and cousins as well as her grandparents, great grandparents and Aunt Becky. It was awesome! After her confirmation we got some family pictures and Nate's mother brought a lovely plate of cookies. It was a great way to start the day.

Then at 4 PM in the afternoon, Isabel was baptized in Kuna by her father Jason. It was fun to see how differently the programs went but both were very special!

They highlighted each child in Isabel's group and told a little bit about them (from previously asking them questions) Isabel : favorite color ~ purple (most of the kids said blue)
Favorite church story ~ Likes them all
What do you have a testimony of ~ Families can be together forever
How do you know Heavenly Father loves you ~ Because I'm good!
It was so cute to hear the different answers the kids gave! I got a tear in my eye when they told about Belle!
Afterwards, Traci had Mom and Dad Norton and me over for dinner. Her Dad brought Prime Rib and Traci and I had put in baked potatoes before we went to the church. It was a big dinner party including Traci, Jason and the 4 kids. Art and Lynn and myself, Gordon and Ala, and Ann, Dan and Ben. The meal was very good and we all had a good visit.
All in all it was a lovely day and 2 of our sweethearts are now members of the True Church!
It doesn't get any better than that!
