POPCORN AND A MOVIE !!~

Tony and I took it easy today! We did a little work in the yard and garden and then chilled the remainder of the day!
IT WAS GREAT!!
Did a little grocery shopping and then we went to a movie at the Dollar Theater!

THOR IS HOT! lol
FUN day and we both needed to relax after this past week!

PARTY IN THE PARK~ !!

Jill and family leave tomorrow (Friday) to start the trek back to Arizona! SO, I held a Party in the Park last night so we could see her off in STYLE ........ Well, as stylish as hot dogs and beans can be BUT that's how we roll! lol

We were happy that Krista was still able to make it to the party but hope she has her own party this weekend!! (Know what I mean..wink wink)

Bob and Joyce came along as well and we were happy to have um!! Joyce made homemade ice cream!!

"BIRTHDAY BUDDIES" together again! It's been three years! WOW! Where does the time go!

Time to dig in ! The weather was lovely and it made for a great evening!

We were able to get ALL the cousins (that were there anyway) together for a group picture! It was like Curtis said ......"It's like herding cats!" We even got a stranger hanging in the background ...... but we did the best we could!

It was nice to get the family together to visit with Jill and see her before she leaves. We missed Deedra (who is very sick with a sinus infection) and Melissa and family. Nate was out of town camping with the kids and Melissa had a busy day and had to teach this morning so wanted to rest and Traci and family. She had a Nurse's meeting last night. :( boo
But we made it work and it was a great night!
We will miss you Jill and family! Hopefully next year we can do this and have Scott with us!

24TH OF JULY CELEBRATION !

This has been such a FUN weekend!! Don't want it to end! After our visit with Jill today, Tony and I went to the church for our 24th of July celebration with the Ward! The Elder's Quorum was in charge and they BBQ'ed a whole pig and then we all brought salads, desserts, beans, rolls etc!
Mmmmmmm! It was so good!! It was a great turnout too!

After eating, there was entertainment and games! The Missionaries sang!
Brother Rauss, who is Samoan, had his little boys teach the Bishop the Fight Dance!
His girls did a Hawaiian dance and boy could they shake their hips!!
Brother Cambell played his bag pipes!! It was awesome! He was all decked out in his kilt and all!
Maureen Law sang! She is one of my Laurels and she did a great job!

We met up Jill, Claire and Hawkins at noon today to see the last ............

It was a fun 10 year ride with these Brits!!
And might I say ...... I absolutely loved the movie!! Now I want to read ALL the books again!!

We went to Mom and Dad Norton's place for a visit. Enjoyed some time in the back yard with them and Bob and Joyce. Shared our leftover movie popcorn ..... lol!!
Joyce took a picture of the 6 of us! Mostyn was with a friend and Scotlyn stayed with Gramma Mary. Jill didn't think she would take to Harry like Hawkins did!!
We then went to our house for a bit and Hawkins showed us his disappearing act!!

FAMILY GET TOGETHER @ PAM & JERRY'S !!~

Pam called me on Monday and said she was at McCall waiting for Robert and Michelle to show up. They were coming from the Berezay Family Reunion and they were going to meet up with Pam and Family and do some camping. (Pam didn't make it to the reunion this year)
She then asked if we could meet up on Thursday night for a BBQ at her house. I agreed and then called Traci and family and Jill and family. Neither one could do it Thursday night so we changed the plans to Friday night.

It was great to visit with Robert and Michelle ....... I didn't really get a chance to (other than a hi and bye) at the reunion. We talked about their family and their home in Hawaii. They invited us over for a visit ANYTIME!! Gonna have to do that one of these days! Pam said they are awesome hosts and they have a small........ 6 BEDROOM HOME on the big island!! lol
Scotlyn was entertaining as ever!!!!
And Hawkins wasn't to be out done!!!

Pam gave the kids treats!!! Good stuff from CANADA!! (She pulled me aside and gave me some sugar too!!!) DELICIOUS!! If I'd have know I was going to get it for free at Pam's house, I could have saved myself lots of money at the reunion auction!! lol
(No, I'd still have spent it!~!~ It went for a great cause!)
Trying to get a picture of Robert was difficult so Megan held him down till I got the job done!!

Jill was concerned about Scotlyn eating her dinner like this so she asked her if she wanted to turn around and use the chair behind her for a table?

"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKIN AT??" lol She didn't really say that , ...... but that's what it looks like! ha ha ha

Jerry and Robert grilled up some gooooood chicken and these WONDERFUL sausages !! I asked Pam what kind they were and guess where she got them from???
You guessed it!! CANADA!! Guess I won't be havin any of those again real soon!
Gonna have to send her with a shopping list next time she makes a Canadian Run!
And Scotlyn's hair was a hoot on the trampoline! It would get so full of static, it would stand straight up!


Robert showed us pictures of their home in Hawaii. They live on the BIG ISLAND!!
Pam got shy little Isabel to sit on her lap and they had a good ole time!
These three had a GREAT time together on the trampoline!!




Thanks Pam for arranging such a great get together!! It was good to see everyone!
