WE CELEBRATE ONE TWIN'S BIRTHDAY

I had to open and close yesterday, as Nancy took the day off. During the day, I got an email from Mom Norton asking us to come over in the evening because Debbie and her family were coming for the long weekend. (Some people are actually lucky enough to get Presidents Day off ...NOT ME or TONY) Anyway, it was a very busy day so I was finally home by 6PM. Tony had bought a SUBWAY sandwich for supper so I ate my half and we took off for his parents home.

Dad gave me a big smile as we arrived and showed me his broken tooth!! (I guess dentures aren't as indestructavle as I thought they were! lol)

We said opur HELLO'S to Debbie, Robin and Danae. Alivia and Cory did not make it because Alivia got sick. Deedra and her kids were there along with Ellie and Livie. Deedra stopped at Melissa's and picked up her girls because Melissa was not feeling good either. We played UNO till the rest of the kids arrived.

After all the gang showed up (Colby & Krista & boys and Stillman & Michele & boys and Tammy and Chris & Katie) Robin got out his CALORIE FREE BIRTHDAY CAKE for Debbie!!!

It was THIN as a BOARD!!! Oh wait! IT WAS A BOARD! LOL

WITH 58 CANDLES ON IT!!
Debbie was lamenting on her 58 candles and I assured her I WISHED I WAS 58!!

She was holding Lehi but decided she had to give him up in order to blow out the fire and keep him safe!!

She takes a BIG BREATH as Katie looks on .......

She admidts she hasn't got what it takes at her age to blow out that many candles so she recruits Katie for help!!

Katie was HAPPY TO OBLIGE!!

AND LOW AND BEHOLD ....... IT WORKED!

THEY ARE ALL OUT!!

And Lehi looks on in amazement ..... his eyes red from all the flames!!! lol

It was fun visiting with some of our UTAH family and some of our local yocals!!

Debbie's other twin is Diane and we wish her a

HAPPY 58th BIRTHDAY as well!!

Wish she could have come too!

OUR VALENTINE DAY DATE!~

Tony and I both worked today (as usual) but he gets off at 3:30 so I skipped my lunch so I could get off at 3:30 as well. We came home, cleaned up and headed to "Dickeys" for an early dinner.
"Dickeys" is a new BBQ place that just opened up on 12th Ave. Before leaving Tony gave me a lovely card! He sure knows how to pick them! He was going to buy me flowers and I told him he didn't need to. They just die anyways! lol
I told him I wanted a small computer desk for my laptop so he is getting me one of those!
Guess we're not
ROMANTIC but PRACTICAL! lol


We gave each other a big kiss and headed out!!

"DICKEYS" was a bit of a disappointment but HEY, I didn't have to cook and we wanted to give it a try anyway. We just won't be trying it again!
The meat was good but it was spendy and you had to walk through a line to be served and the line was LONG ............ basically because it's a new place!! I'm sure it won't be that busy in a month or so. After leaving I gave my Valentine a BSU T-SHIRT and a bottle of M&M's.
I wanted to take a picture of him in the shirt but he didn't put it on.

We went home and finished watching a movie we had started the night before. It was a low key Valentine's Day but very nice!

FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE AND A DANCE

Tonight after work, Tony and I had the Hendricks come over for dinner and a movie. They are a family we home teach and they are inactive. We get together with them occasionally and go out to dinner and to movies but tonight we decided to just have them over. Tony picked up a pizza on his way home and Zella brought a tossed salad.I made brownies and we had a very pleasant evening. We watched "COURAGEOUS" and it instigated some religious talk when it was over. It's a GREAT movie and I highly recommend it !




As, we were visiting Stillman called and asked if we were coming to the "Valentine" dance at the Stake house. Tony said he would have to twist my arm (which he did) and we tried to talk Larry and Zella into going with us but they declined and went home.



I didn't want to go because my shoulder and arm have been giving me so much trouble but we did and I'm glad we went. Stillman and Michelle taught some dances and Michelle and her mother Donna were taking pictures! They had a lot of adorable Valentine Props and so we got our picture done. (Photo to follow later when they are downloaded) It was well attended and people of ALL ages participated and danced! It was so much fun to sit and watch everyone. I told Tony that we will just have to learn to dance so we can join in the fun!

GETTING A SOUVENIR BEFORE FLYING HOME!

Traci and Jason and Scott and Jill and families fly home today and Jeff and Christa have ONE more day! I'm excited to hear all about the trip and see all their pictures.

I just got this one of Sophia off of Face Book! She is buying a hat and it looks like she is picking one out for STEVE!! Whoever he is. He was with Isabel on the flight down to Florida and with Sophia on the way back!

Hopefully, Tony and I will get to take a trip to Disney World together someday!

LAST DAY IN DISNEY WORLD!!

Traci's kids went to DISCOVERY COVE at some point and swam with the Dolphins!

I think that may be fish food Andrew is packing around! Knowing this kid ..... he probably tried it!! lol

I don't see any Dolphins' in this shot but they are swimming ! ..... lol

Here are the three youngest suited up!! If I remember right, Caden didn't want to do this when they were making plans so hence: no Caden! He must be hanging out with the other parties!

JACK TURNS THREE!~

We went to Deedra's tonight to celebrate Jack's 3rd Birthday! She made him a
Donut Cake! It was so cute!

Jack had just woke up from his nap so he was kinda laid back ...... He came out of it a little later! lol

He got a new cowboy hat, lots of clothes, a stick horse and some caterpillar toys!

Deedra got most of his toys for free from some new neighbors that just moved in by Tammy! She was pretty excited about that!
He did get a new puzzle from Garrett!

This is one of his free gifts .... Later Jack said "this is my toy"

It was fun to watch him get into the Birthday Spirit! All the others enjoyed it too. I have to laugh at Jayden making off with the
Thomas The Train Puzzle ...... his favorite!!

Jack didn't seem to care ..... He had his BIG CATERPILLAR toy!!
