Tony's leg (mostly knee) has been so bad the last few days that we opted out of the gym today. Besides, the window washer was coming around 9 am. He was prompt and boy did my windows need some TLC! He was such a nice kid!
He did all the inside 1st. Hence, the pictures are not so good. Light in front of him and all!
Tony was so good to move out the furniture and open all the blinds for him before hand. He really appreciated it.
Tony also moved all the crap that was on the shelf in the garage and cleaned out all the cobwebs and flies in this window. I'm sure he really appreciated that most of all!
This window terrifies me so I was certainly glad it didn't bother him at all!
He even told us about some hornet nests that were up there. He knocked two of them down. One still had hornets in it. Tony offered him some spray so he could kill them 1st but he said he preferred not to use chemicals.
It was a BIG ONE too. There were a few started flying around one he knocked it down but he didn't get stung.
THANK HEAVENS!
Nice of him to take care of them while he was up there.
I had Tony pick it up so I could take a picture.
He worked around our little trailer and the screen on this window was popped out. He cleaned all the screens as well so when it got cleaned, he popped it back in place!
On to the front room windows!
Then the back!
Then the very back of the house. He loved all my Marigolds! lol He asked if I like the smell of them and I told him no! Bit I liked the fact that for the most part they helped to keep the bugs out of my garden. He told me ever since he was a little boy, he liked the smell. It's different he said! lol It sure is!
He finished up by washing the last window on the right side of the house. The one that looks into Aaron's yard from our dining room table. Last year we paid $150.00 but just like everything, it went up to $225.00. BUT, it took him 2 1/4 hours and he did it much faster and better than I would have been able to so I was happy to pay the price! So was Tony!!
After he left, we went to Costco. As we were driving down the blvd. we couldn't figure out why traffic was so backed up. Tony thought there must have been a car accident. It took forever to get through. We went to Costco and got what we needed and then we went to WINCO and saw what the problem was. A water main had broke and there was water all over the road and into the entrance of WINCO where the Jack in the Box is. It was a mess!!
They got the water leak stopped by the time we got to Winco but there was still water all over the place!! After we got what we needed there, we went and washed the car and then went to the bank to make a deposit. Then we came home and I made.....
PORK TACO'S!! They were delicious!!
We settled down to a movie and then to bed early. We are getting up early to go to the temple with Melissa and Ellie.
