MOW, DOCTOR, REST, RAIN!

Tony and I got up early this morning and went directly out to mow. We were outside  by 7:30. The grass was pretty dewy so that wasn't such a great move, but Tony had a doctor appointment in downtown Boise at 11 and we had 3 lawns to take care of,  so had to get right on it. After we finished ours and Joyce's, I made us blueberry pancakes for breakfast and then Tony hurried over and mowed his mothers lawn.  When he finished, he came home, showered and we took off for Boise. The appointment went well and then we came back to Nampa with a short trip to the water company, then home.

We immediately came in and hit the couch and we both fell asleep while watching a little TV. I got a call from my friend Zella and we went out to put the mower away after our phone conversation. I took some pictures of my plants. The hydrangeas are blooming nicely.

Maybe my flowers will do better now that the weather is cooling down.

This one will be interesting now that the chicks are getting plentiful!

We came back in and plopped our butts back on the couch. We ate a bowl of cereal for dinner. Too tired to even warm up leftovers. (They weren't that good anyway) lol  The wind came up and the sky started to darken.

And now it is raining. LOVE IT!!  We needed it! It actually felt cool outside when I stepped out to take this picture. It was a very restful day and we needed it. Tony's knee is bothering him again.
