I want to sleep in soooooo bad but guess it will have to wait till next month. I got to do the windows today and it took me so long I was the last one to leave.
I came home and showered and got dressed and then went to Costco and bought food for a funeral. I had made a big potato salad last night and picked up fruit bowls, rolls and meat and cheese trays and headed to Boise. Suzanne is our Risk Manager at work and her mother passed away. The funeral was at Summer's in downtown Boise and me and Lynette, LaRee and Sally bought the food (ProPeople is reimbursing us) The other gals each made a salad and picked up pies. It was very nice and we got so many thank yous from the family and friends.
I just got home though and I am so tired! We got to Summer's at 11:30 this morning and I got home at 4:30 this afternoon! I think I'm gonna take a nap while my laundry is in the wash and before my hubby calls me! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Summer's is an LDS funeral home. It's very old and antique but lovely!
The chapel ~
Behind the curtains (which are on the right side of the chapel) is a small kitchen area. It is where we set up the food. There was an old antique china hutch and a matching table. They had the neatest kitchen accessories (which we were welcome to use) After the service, the curtains were drawn back and the family filed through and filled their plates. It was nice to do service today.

Wow that's a very pretty funeral home. Sorry to hear about your friend's mom passing.
I'm sorry for your friend's loss; it's neat that the business is helping with the funeral... I bet that helps take some of the load off of her mind. And yes, that funeral home is really beautiful, and well-designed for all the funeral activities - I bet it was nice to have all those consolidated.
