I tell ya, there just aren't enough hours in a Saturday!!!
I had to go to Boise this morning (10AM) to plan a new route for our Young Women's Temple Trek which will be held on Saturday the 28th of this month. The old presidency had this planned long before I was made President and the trip was going to be from the Prison in Kuna to the Temple in Boise. (7 mile walk) However, the Stake Presidency didn't feel good about the route so asked us to plan another safer one. We decided to have the girls walk the Boise Green Belt from Barber Park to Ann Morrison or possibly Veterans Park. The river is extremely high and there is a possibility of some of the Green Belt being under water so we'll have to play it by ear. My counselors Kim and Emily and myself (along with Emily's husband James) went and took a look at the possibilities this morning and got in a three mile walk in the process.
Drove back to Nampa and then Kim and I went to Fred Meyer and got seeds for the garden that she will help me plant at my work. Will be doing that next Saturday! (My boss will reimburse me for the seeds because we share the produce with the temps that work for us!) I will share with Kim because she doesn't have a garden space and she is helping me plant. Win win!!
Then I came home and cleaned up all the branches from the willow (AGAIN!!) and mowed and weed eated the yard. Then I put down a bug killer to make sure those dang bill bugs don't destroy my yard again this year!
Then I rototilled the garden and planted peas, carrots, Swiss chard and romaine lettuce. I will put more in as I get time but it's now 5PM and I'm totally shot for the day!
Got my mail before coming in to clean up and got a nice surprise!!
Heather (bless her heart) sent me the 2nd book in the series about Sarah Agnes Prime. The 1st one (which she gave me for Christmas) was so good !!! I am very anxious to get this one read!!
Thank you Heather!
