CONFERENCE WEEKEND

We started off the weekend by tending Tristan and Ari so Chris and Princess could go on a 'WELL DESERVED AND MUCH NEEDED" date .........ALONE, I might add!  They haven't been on a date without the kids since they had the two little ones. We were the couple they trusted enough to leave the kids with. Chris planned a dinner and Anniversary Inn night out.  Princess didn't know it was going to be overnight and after they left the two of them called us 5 times to find out if the kids were OK!  lol
They were little angels!! We started off with dinner and then watching TOY STORY but they lost interest and wanted to play on the stairs!
After going up and down the stairs a few different ways, I put on MONSTERS INC.

That got them to the couch real quick  (evidently one of their favorites!)
And they watched intently!!!

You'd think it would scare them but they LOVE this one!!

This isn't scary!!!!!

After Monsters was over I got them ready for bed, brushed their teeth and laid them down. Ari fussed for about 10 seconds (LITERALLY) and she was out like a light!!

Tristan didn't fuss at all was was out like a light!!
They were both awesome! So well behaved. Mom and Dad worried about how they would be but they were no trouble at all!  Tony and I went to bed and I got up once during the night to cover Ari up when she fussed and after doing so she went right back to sleep. Saturday morning, Chris and Princess were back home at 9AM. They little ones were up at 7AM and had eaten breakfast and were dressed and ready to go. They went back into Boise to spend the day with Gordon. They went target shooting. Tony and I settled down and relaxed while watching the Saturday sessions of Conference. We were so excited to hear the new age that Young Men and Young Women can serve missions now. Also the announcement of two new temples. The one in Tuscon AZ. really excited us!!  YAY for Scott and Jill and Chris and Princess! Conference was awesome and we enjoyed all the speakers.
Sunday morning we all got ready to watch conference. After breakfast we settled in and Chris and Princess said that after all the running they have been doing, they needed a nice relaxing day. The little ones played with toys and between sessions they played with daddy!
Chris doesn't have much hair for Ari to hang on to but she tries!!  lol
She sure loves her daddy!
Tristan figured out the obnoxious toy all by himself. We told him it didn't work but he got it making noise .....
And was pretty tickled with himself!!  He stood up and said "See, I got it!"  So cute!

They both love to play with Mommy and Daddy's phones and Nook tablets!  Kids are brilliant these days!!

Ari uses those little long fingers to manipulate her way around those games on the nook with ease!

It was fun to watch her.

Tristan (with a little help from daddy) put puzzles together!
And then gave me the thumbs up when he was finished!
On to another one ........

And another thumbs up .....

And a TA DA!!!!!

After conference and dinner we sat around and played and visited. Tristan (happy face) Ari (serious face)
Art and Lynn came over for a while Sunday evening so we got a picture of all of us!
I loved the little ones!!  They kept saying cheese! You can tell!
It was a fun weekend and we have enjoyed visiting with the kids. They have spent a lot of time in Boise with Gordon as well and been with friends and of course Traci and Jason so this past weekend was extra nice to have a little more time with them.  We are planning on going to the Temple with them tonight (Tuesday) and then Wed. they are driving to Montana to see Grandma and Grandpa Berezay and Donna and Jack. They will be back Friday night and then leave for home on Saturday the 13th. What a joy it had been to have them visit!
