BRINGING IN THE NEW YEAR!

For New Years, we traveled to Utah to go to the 1st Night Celebration on Temple Square. Art and Lynn went with us. We stopped at Jon & Heather's and spent a couple of hours with the family! Got a picture of Heather & the boys. Got quite a kick out of Rowan's pose! Little Sawyer is quite the  "Chunky Monkey"!  It was fun to see them. We got a couple of pizza's and had lunch together before heading into Salt Lake and the condo.

We drove out to Lehi on Saturday morning to give Derek, Rachel and kids their Christmas gifts and found out that Gideon was being ordained to the Priesthood on Sunday morning.  That night, we were invited to have dinner at Debbie and Robin's home in Bountiful. We met up with them and Jess and Diane for dinner and games. Sunday morning we drove back out  to Lehi to  witness Gideon's ordination! It was a great weekend thus far!

Monday we met up with Jess and Diane again and we went to Les Miserables and then to dinner at Olive Garden before braving the cold and walking to Temple Square for 1st Night.

And it was COLD!!!! We were bundled up good and it was still pretty hard to endure. !st Night was so much fun (as always!) and we had a great time enjoying  music of all kinds!  We walked back to the condo and said our good byes to Jess and Diane and then hit the sack. We got up Tuesday morning, cleaned the condo and headed home. Jill and the kids were leaving for Arizona on Wednesday and I wanted to see them one more time before they left so I got back in my car and drove into Boise.

They are always so much fun! Jill had bought a packet of mustache's to greet Scott with when they got home! They all modeled one for me (except Claire....teenager!  lol)  We had a great visit. (They all got home safely.... Jills driving skills amaze me) It was a wonderful Holiday Season.
