We hiked down into the bottom of the canyon and there was a new picture around EVERY bend! I kid you not! I took over 380 pictures! Such an incredible place!
Trees cling to the rocks for life in some places! They are narled and twisted but still living! It was so interesting!
The photo opportunities are endless! The rock is red in spots and white in others! The path dow was not bad at all but the walk up was exhausting! (Well, at least for me)I took a seat for a while under this big rock! It was 30 degrees just out of Cedar City as we were traveling up to Bryce but when we got to Bryce it was in the 50's so we took off our coats and tied them around our waists. Had to after we started hiking! We got pretty warm!
This little guy was on the trail around the bottom of the canyon. We saw deer on the way up but only chipmunks in the canyon itself.
This formation was called The Two Bridges. There are so many awesome places to see and the rocks are so cool. I loved Thor's Hammer as well.
Some kids from Austrailia took this picture of us by Thors Hammer.
And this is another picture of Thor's Hammer.
We hiked from noon to 4PM and I was so exhausted by the time we were done .....I kissed the truck that would carry us out! lol
It was a fantastic day. Weather was beautiful but the scenic views were incredible!!
