EASTER WEEKEND

We drove to Lewiston last Friday night for Easter and Alex's baptism. We got there at 10:30 our time but it was 9:30 theirs.  Everyone had gone to bed but Joel waited up for us and promptly showed us where we were sleeping. Saturday morning we got up to beautiful weather and a wonderful breakfast. We then headed to the soccer field to watch Jayden's game. Stillman coaches his team and we were proud to see them wearing BRONCO orange! lol

After the game we went to Stillman and Michele's home and got the grand tour. They had celebrated the boys birthdays the night before so we gave the boys their gifts and sang to them again.

We then went to Alex's soccer game. He was a good player and made at least two scores. I'm not very good at keeping track but it was a WIN for his team!

We then went back to Joel and Kim's house where Kim had a fabulous Easter Dinner prepared for all of us! The kids hunted for Easter eggs 1st and then we sat down to ham and potato casseroles, salads, fresh rolls and relish trays! It was so good!

That evening we went to witness Alex get baptized. There was a BIG turnout for his BIG DAY! It was so nice.

And Gramma and Grampa !  We took a zillion pictures but since this is MY BLOG, I posted mine!  lol It was a wonderful weekend. Sunday we went to church with Kim and Joel.  It was a lovely service. 2 Return Missionaries spoke (Both fabulous!!) and Joel was involved in a musical number. He played his violin while a high school  friend of Traci's (Heidi Hobson Simmoms) played the piano and a lady sang. Then there was another musical number by a husband and wife. She on the piano and he was playing a tenor sax. It was beautiful too.  We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather. Such a reminder of new life and the resurrection.  I am so grateful for my Savior and his atonement for my sins. I love Him so much and I love my family.
