MAXINE AND STAN GOT TO TOWN!~

Friday morning, Tony and I went to the gym and we walked and did our weights. After, we stopped at Lynn's and visited with the gals (Debbie, Lynn and Alivia) for a while. We ate a half a sandwich and then we hurried home, showered and cleaned up and then we went back to play cards. At 5 o'clock, the app on my phone for the doorbell, went off. I looked at it and it was Maxine & Stan. We quickly put our cards away and took off for home. 

I called Max on the way home and told her we were just a minute away. We got home and got them in the house and we visited for about 45 minutes and then the four us, headed over to the Slover's Barbeque! I took cut up watermelon and baked beans.

Kevin has four barbecue's and he used three of them!! He cooked up 9 racks of beef ribs, some chicken breasts and pulled pork. On one, he cooked street taco's ! Mmmmm, my favorite!!  There were some member's of their ward there as well as all his and Lori's family and grandchildren.  Must have been 25 to 30 counting the kids.

The food was plentiful and so good. we sure enjoyed it and the company was awesome as well. It was nice to meet more people. 

Kevin is the man on the left in the checkered shirt. The man in the center is Celeste's (one of their daughters) husband. 

It really was a fun evening and we four sure enjoyed ourselves and the new people we met.

The weather was perfect as it had cooled down to be very pleasant!

When we got home a little after 8, we got Max and Stan situated in the back room and had to say goodnight as, Tony and I headed to bed. We had to be at the temple Saturday morning for early morning prayer meeting because we were going to be serving as Veil Coordinators.  Had to get up at 4am.

It was so fun to be able to spend a little time together and we looked forward to Saturday when we could be together with family at Megan and Aaron's reception!
