WORKOUT x TWO

I had a coughing fit when I got in bed last night and felt like I was disturbing Tony so I went down stairs. I finally came back up this morning at 2:45 this morning. I had a hard time getting up this morning but finally drug myself out at almost 9. Lynn's house cleaners had just left so after a quick bowl of cereal, we picked up Lynn and we took off for the rec center. 

Tony and I walked our two miles while Lynn did some weight machines. Then they  got on the bikes and I got on the elliptical. I was able to get a picture of them before we quit. I went five and a quarter miles and Tony did seven on his. He goes a lot faster than I do. Lynn did three. we dropped Mom off at home and we came home to start on defrosting our freezer. Trying to get things done before winter hits. It was 47 degrees when we got up this morning so its on it's way. 

We got out all our coolers and Tony handed me things from the freezer and I filled the coolers. PLUS the recycle bin!

The bottom of the freezer was filled with ice!!  Tony had to break it up just to get the basket out. A chisel and hammer come in handy! 

It took a while but Tony finally got the bottom basket out!

I took it out to the driveway and dropped it several time to break up the ice. It all finally came off and I swept it onto the grass!

It's amazing how much  ice was in the bottom of the freezer. It was so bad that we couldn't get food out because it was froze to the ice. 

Our 1st snow of the year! lol

What took a long time was the drain hole! It was froze solid. Tony used my hair dryer and I also boiled water that he poured down the hole until it broke loose. I took the drain tray into the kitchen and washed it out good. We put it back and replaced all the trays and baskets and the back of the freezer and then started to refill it.

It looks SO MUCH BETTER!~   I threw out a few things that were too old.  We had put ice-cream and some butter in Joyce's freezer, so Tony went to get it while I cleaned out the coolers we'd used.  We have to prepare ourselves for next year. It seems to be a yearly activity. Darn freezer. Wish it drained better.

I took out some Rhodes Rolls from the freezer and made sticky buns.  We ate lunch and watched a little TV while we ate. Now, I need to clean out the freezer in the house. Guess I need to get busy!

DONE!~

Don't think I'll be able to wait till later.
