FRIDAY, FRIYAY!~

I got up at 6:50 this morning because I was taking my friend Carrie to get a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. She lives across town by the airport and she needed to be there at 8:30. I feel  so bad for her. She is 62 and recently had a hysterectomy and they found cancer. She has been getting chemo and has lost all her hair. She has the best attitude and has a GREAT sense of humor!! I just love her! Anyways, I got her to her appointment and I brought my book to read but still haven't got it finished!  Anyway, she was done by 10 o'clock and they came and got me and had me come back to be with her while she came out of the anesthesia.  It took a while but she finally was alert enough to get dressed. The doctor came in and told her he removed one polyp from the colonoscopy but that he removed one in her trachea as well and she has a mass in her stomach that he took a biopsy  of. She will get the results in 7 days or so. I'm praying it won't be more cancer. We finally got out of the place by 11 and she wanted a n ice-cream from BLAZSEN BURGERS, so I took her over to get one. It was closed because of a wedding. So, I took her to Dairy Queen and it was closed (evidently don't open till noon) so she said to just take her home. I did and she discovered she didn't have her keys to get in. She called her daughter Valerie and told her she would have to come get her keys, so I drove her to Caldwell to the University of Idaho and we met Val by the tennis courts. Then I took her home! It was a full morning. I got home about 12:30.

I immediately moved my kitchen chairs to the living room and swept and steam mopped my kitchen floor. Boy, did it need it!  I've been meaning to get it done but have been so busy, I hadn't got to it. FINALLY, I did.  Tony was busy blowing out the sprinkler systems. He had done ours and then Aunt Joyce's and when I was on my way home, he said he was at his moms and getting close to done with hers.  He did come home just as I finished and was starting on vacuuming my floors again. I wanted to get things all cleaned up before we left for Astoria. I just hate coming home to a dirty house because then I have all the clothes to wash, and all the stuff to put away that we took on our trip. It doesn't seem quite so bad if I get things done beforehand.
It looks so much better now. I got all the chairs put back in place, finished the vacuuming, cleaned all 3 toilets and then took my shower. Tony came in and gave me all his dirty clothes and I am now doing laundry. I even sprayed Febreze and the house smells amazing. lol  Now to finish the last little bit of packing and take it all down to the back room. Then when we get done with our temple shift tomorrow morning, we'll come home change, load the car and head to Curtis & Deedra's. Stay with them Saturday night and then on to Astoria on Sunday. Can't wait to see my Momma!!
