We got to the Bountiful temple at 8:30 AM and the wedding ceremony was at 9. It was so lovely! I love the covenants we make when we are married. I love to think that it is the couple and our Heavenly Father in the marriage. If more couples had that triangle in their marriage, we would have a lot less divorces. We enjoyed it so much. After the ceremony we went outside to wait for the couple to come out.
Mom was the 1st to come out. We laughed as she posed with a surprised look! lol
Soon after, Ellie and Joe came out with the
BIGGEST SMILES!!
Joe with the BIG DIP!!
He did several of those throughout the day!
Once we all greeted them, we went to the side of the Temple and did photo's. There were a ton taken by a professional so I did what I could from behind her. lol
The BIG GROUP picture was taken 1st and of course I couldn't take that one. lol But, I got some good pictures. This is Pam and Chuck (Nathan's mom and step dad) and the happy couple
and Ellies Mom and dad!
Then Blake and his bride, Grace and Alivia.
One big happy family!
This is a lot of Joseph's family! They are lovely people! I don't know a lot of them but his parents are wonderful!! He has three sisters. The one in the picture is on a mission!
Here we are with the two cuties!!
The two sets of newly weds with their parents!
Nate and Melissa will soon be empty nesters. Two married kids and Livie will soon graduate and go on her mission!
The Cleaver's and Sweeten's!
The kids wanted to re-create this picture........
AND, here it is!! So sweet!
Deb & Alivia, had gone home. Deb got sick after Blake & Grace's wedding from being out in the cold air. SO, we started to walk back to their house and Tony called her and she came and got us. At noon, we all met at TUCANO'S in Farmington for the wedding luncheon. MAN, I wouldn't want to get that bill. lol We went home after the luncheon and rested a bit. We opened a gift that Lynn gave to Tony and Me.
She gave the three of us a beautiful Nativity in a snow globe of sorts. It's really pretty. We got books from Diane and a puzzle and some JalapeƱo Jam. Can't wait to put it on cream cheese and crackers! Around 6PM, we drove to Kaysville for the reception.
It was really nice! The played THE SHOE GAME
which was really cute!
CUTTING THE CAKE!~
They served Donuts and Hot Chocolate at the reception!
Loved this Board!!
There was a lot of dancing going on!!
Nate and Ellie and Melissa and Joe!
As soon as they asked all the married couples to come up, we left! lol It was a long day and we were tired. It was a 20 minute drive back to Bountiful and we planned to leave 1st thing Sunday morning for home so wanted to get a good nights rest!
