PLEASANT SURPRISE

Well, the talk was that we would wake up to snow this morning!! If indeed it did snow, we would take Lynn to her hair appointment with Melissa and skip the Electricians breakfast in Meridian. We got up and it had NOT snowed, so Lynn was able to drive herself and we took off for the breakfast! It was at Joe Momma's again. We learned the last time we were here that the servings are HUGE so we already knew we were going to split a meal! Man, am I glad we did!! We still had a plate full each. A ham & mushroom omelet with hashbrowns and a pancake!!  I have to admit, this was one of the most pleasant times I've attended. People were very nice & talkative and I didn't feel like such a loner. lol  The meal was delicious as well and I don't think I'll have to eat the rest of the day!

On the way home, we passed the fields across from THE VILLAGE in Meridian, and there were HUNDREDS of Geese!! 

I only got a picture of the fields close to Fairview so you can't really see ALL THE BIRD's we saw!! But SERIOUSLY, there was a mess of them!  Kinda cool! When we got home, Tony changed into his gym clothes and we went to pick up Lynn. We went to the gym and walked today.

Tony did four miles at a really fast pace. I couldn't keep up with him if I tried. AND, I didn't try! lol

I walked my two miles and then went down to the elliptical and rode 5 miles on it. I have been putting it on leg and shoulder resistance and I'll tell you what!! I'm sweating like crazy when I'm done. I can sure feel it later in my mid-section and legs too! We got home and Tony went to Lynn's to meet with the insurance man about her house. I worked on my RS lesson for Sunday!

At 4:45 we went over to the Smith building to help Nate & Melissa set up tables and chairs for the double wedding reception which will be tomorrow night for Blake & Grace and Joe & Ellie. 

We had it all done within 15 minutes.  Christy Watson was there unloading all her decor. She is doing all the catering and decorations so all we had to do was set up tables & chairs. It looks like it's going to be beautiful! Can't wait to see it tomorrow night.
