Tony went to pick up Chris Floyd at the car repair place at 8:30 this morning and take him home. Then he came back and picked me up and we headed to the gym. It was our longer day with walking, elliptical and weights. We finished at 11:30 and he had an appointment with Melissa for a haircut at noon so I was hoping he would take me home 1st. BUT Melissa called him and told him to come right over . Shoot! I wanted to go home and get started on some things because I found out I have a meeting tonight at 6:30.
Anyway, we got there before Melissa did. lol I was waiting out in the car and took a few eerie pictures from the car!
It's so wild to see the house and car and then Tony and Missy. I told him they look like specters! If I was in Salem in the late 1600's I turn them in as a witch! lol
I've obviously been reading too much on that subject! lol I'm almost done with t he book so I can start reading my two new Michael Vey books. Anyway, we got home and Tony asked if there was anything he could do to help me. I asked if he would bring the laundry down so I could get started on that. He did, bless his heart.
I had made Artisan bread dough last night and I got it in the oven. I want to bring it to Peggy for her birthday along with a notebook I made her for Christmas, which I have yet to deliver. She is not answering her phone so while it was baking, I finished up the six cards I made for Mary in her re-order. She has yet to tell me what the 2nd will be but I'm just glad to be ahead of the game.
I got the loaf of Artisan bread out of the oven and will package it up soon. I called Peggy again but she is still not answering. I wanted the bread to be warm when I gave it to her but looks like it will not! BOO!~ Well, now to fold the 1st batch of clothes I got done and put them away. Will make lunch at 3PM and have the other batch to fold. BUT, I'm getting there. Tony also vacuumed the whole house while I was doing the other things. Now I need to dust. AND, I have a Relief Society Presidency meeting tonight.
I went to the RS mtg. at 6:30. They seem to last forever! As we were having the closing prayer, my phone was buzzing in my pocket. As soon as Amen was said, I picked it up and it was Peggy. She had been out all day with her brother. I told her I was coming by with her birthday gift. I stopped by and she met me down in the lobby of her apartment. We visited a bit and then got home at quarter to nine. Watched an episode of HEARTLAND and now we are off to bed. We are going to the temple with the ladies tomorrow so need to get some rest. It was a good day!
