SUNDAY, LET THE HOLIDAY WEEK BEGIN!~

We had a nice Sabbath. Church was great. Good speakers and our Relief Society lesson was awesome. Sister Law did a great job. Everything was on gratitude today. After church, we had choir practice. We have been asked to sing at a Christmas Fireside for the Stake. I think there are going to be other choirs participating as well. Of course, they pick the hardest song we have been singing. We sang it with the music on Lisa's speaker box and we sounded wonderful. OK, it was mostly them that sounded so good ! lol I hope we can use that during the Fireside. we came home and I cooked bacon at my house and then we all met at Joyce's house for a brunch. It was good. Waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. We came to our home after eating and watched COME FOLLOW UP. Then Tony had to go to a Priesthood Interview at the Stake house. Us gals watched a couple of episodes of THE CHOSEN and then Tony got home and had a Priesthood meeting here at the house. The ladies went home and I came upstairs to work some more on my camel.

He's a work in progress and will definitely look much better after he's dunked in the resin. I'm still working on the detail painting. It's hard to do it on bumpy rock!!  Then I picked him up and his right ear fell off! Grrrrr.....Got it reglued but I have to paint and re dip him in the glaze.  Not now but later.
I bought these for the people I minister to. Then I got some for Joyce & Lynn. Then we bought some for Debbie & Diane so we could send it home with Diane & Jess when they leave Sunday. Christmas present. I got really cute plates to place theirs on. These two were left and so I'm watching them grow. The left one has really sprouted up. The right one is newer so it hasn't taken off yet. It is so fun to watch them progress.
Today is Thanksgiving. I got up and prepared a relish tray. I made the jello pretzel salad last night. I made 2 cranberry sauces last week.  Tony helped me peel potatoes and I got them boiled and mashed and in the oven. Then I made a cracker/cheese/sausage tray. At 12:30, we went to Lynn's. Stillman and family were the 1st to come. Then Jeff & Cynthia and Tammy and Chris and family showed up about the same time. It was a nice afternoon and evening. We had a fabulous meal and a great visit and then we played games.

We took pictures at the table while playing games.

Chris & Jess were watching TV so I didn't get them.

The kids were playing in the basement & Jeff & Cynthia and Mom were in the kitchen visiting and eating pie!

So this was the group playing when the camera came out! After several rounds of UNO & GOLF, we called it quits and cleaned up the food and the kitchen and people left. Tony & Stillman, Michelle and their boys are going to the BSU game at 8 in the morning. It starts at 10 and I will just sleep in and then go to Lynns to watch it.
I got these socks from my Ministering Sisters and I had Tony take a picture of them when we got home.
Everyone got a kick out of them at the dinner. It was a nice day and I am so Thankful for my family. Scott & Jill hosted her family and Traci & Belle worked while Andrew spent it with his dad. I hope to get my family at Christmas. Scott & Jill have said yes and I think Traci will come with some of her kids. My niece, Charcie had her 6th child today and we are all so thankful it went well. He was a big boy. The cord was wrapped around his neck three times but all is well. I am praying for my cousins wife (Michelle) that she recovers from her accident. (She was hit by a truck while walking her dog) We have our ups and downs but I am truly grateful for my blessings.
