FINALLY, A BIT OF A BREAK!!

How ironic is trying to keep up with Pat at the gym!! lol We got up at 7am this morning so I could be at the gym by 7:30. Ha ha ha!!  She got there at 7 this morning and was half way done before I got there!!   I told Tony we may as well go when we want to cuz I can't keep up with her!!  lol  However, it worked out well because I got home in time to make treats for the sister's I minister  to. We got home at 10 and I didn't have to pick up Peggy till  11:15.

So  I got busy making these when we got home.

3 Ingredients and so easy in my silicone cupcake pans. Tony got them for me for  Christmas and
 I LOVE THEM!!

After, I  got them in the pans, I melted chocolate and spread it on them, and put them in the freezer  to set up. I then hurried up stairs to clean  up and get ready to go. Once done, I went down to package my treats for my ladies!

I  had some paper purses that I filled  with watermelon gummies that I put in small cellophane bags. Then I put the rice krispie cups in a little bigger cellophane bags and tried sealing them with my washi tape! It must be getting old because I couldn't get it to tear like it should! It didn't stick that great  either. It was so frustrating and they didn't look very good, but the goodies taste good! lol I picked up Peggy and we went to see the Taylor sisters and spent a good hour with them and then we went to see Wendy Butterfield. Had a great visit with her as well. I wanted to see Robin today, but she put us off till Wednesday. When I got home, Tony was gone. He had sprayed all the weeds in our yard and was at his mom's doing the same thing.  Then he got home and went to Joyce's to spray her yard. I made Tony lunch and then I left to go to see Scott and wish him a happy birthday!

I made him a container with some of the rice krispie treats and gave him a Sports Trivia game. He's 51 today! WOW!!  That makes me feel so old!!  lol  My kids are growing up! lol
When I got home, I started cutting out some new dies. They are daisy's and the leaves. Just something to do while we watch TV.
TUESDAY:
Went to the gym late. Tony had done all the spraying in all 3 yards and was pretty tired, SO we didn't even get up till 8:30!!  Pat was all done & gone when we arrived but, it was good because I was able to listen to the Conference talks. However, I only got one done before Carol showed up. I walked with her and when she left, I got back to my talks on my earbuds and then Neva started walking with me. lol  I will eventually get them listened to again. We came home and were relaxing and watching TV and I was cutting with my dies again. Then I get a call from Robin and she said she was sick and dehydrated. She wondered if I could go get her some Power Aid. I said I would so Tony and I ran down to Winco and I called her when I was in the correct isle. She old me which ones she wanted and then asked if I'd get her some sour dough bread and butter. I did and then ran it to her house and dropped it off. I didn't stay long because we were going to the last 3 episodes of THE CHOSEN at 5.
We picked up Joyce & Lynn and headed to the show. It was so good. It ended with Judas betraying the Savior in the Garden of Gethsemane. There are still 2 seasons to be done but we'll have to wait a year to see season 6.
We got a call from Chris while we were in the theater. He had some electrical problems. It was too late when we got out of the show so he got a hold of Tony this morning.
WEDNESDAY:
Went to the gym and walked with Pat. She'd only done 4 laps by the time I got there. she won't be going tomorrow and I won't be there on Friday so guess we won't walk together till Monday. When I got home, I fixed lunch for Yeti and the Sisters.
We had a taco casserole and a tossed salad and then ice-cream sundays. I like to be able to send the leftovers home with Yeti for his lunch for his night shift at his job. It's great! We had a discussion on the Holy Ghost and read scriptures in St John.
After they left, I went to pick up Peggy and we went to see Robin. I brought her the Easter purse and Rice Krispie cups.  We stayed for a bit but she was tired and not feeling well so we left.

I went over to Joyce's and dug up some of her strawberries. She was needing them thinned and they are the best strawberries. I sure hope they do well in this little planter Tony got me.  I added some more potting soil to some of my pots and then watered my peas and some of the flowers that are in pots.
The peas are doing good. The carrots and beets still haven't come up.
The Quints (well one of them) is in bloom. The other
three are taking their time.
Tony and his Presidency and the Relief Society sisters were having a meeting at our house to plan the talks to use for the next 6 months. Just before the meeting, Robin called and wanted to know if I could go back over. I told her I couldn't because I had the meeting so I hope she is OK with that. The meeting went well, and after we got the talks scheduled, us women came into the back room to have our meeting and the men stayed at the kitchen table. We got our separate meetings done and off everyone went.
THURSDAY  BOOK CLUB & A SURPRISE
We went to the gym and it was cold and windy today. I saw the sun and wasn't going to wear a coat, but when I got outside, I headed back in and got a jacket. When we got home, I did a little watering in the yard. My peas and pots needed a drink. The big chime was ringing like crazy but makes beautiful music!

The yard is looking better everyday.
The little red quintz is getting a lot of blossoms.
It's not very big but it is coming along! I decided to make cream puffs for the dessert for book club. The 1st batch didn't raise very good so I went to the store and got a bag of fresh flour. Glad I did, they turned out much better.  Thee ladies showed up about the same time and we got started with our discussion.
Effie, led the discussion.
Lynn and Luva were there.
As were Joyce, Elizabeth and Joyce Glaettlie. It wasn't as big of a turnout as some of them but it was OK.  I got a call from Jenni when we were almost done and she asked if I wanted to go with her to The Messiah in America at the Morrison Building in Boise.

The set was so cool! Ancient America brought to life!

Jenni's husband wasn't feeling well and so I got to take his place. It was at 8 o'clock. Our book club discussion was over with, and I'd fed them so Jenni picked me up and we headed for Boise. It was a beautiful production and the group "Gentry" were the Narrators. It was all done in music, I was totally amazed at how many were involved in the show. I was so thankful and grateful to Jenni for thinking about me. I got home around 11PM (as it took forever to get out of the parking structure) and went straight to bed.
FRIDAY

We got up at 7:30 and got ready to go to the temple. It was a little warmer today so that was nice. We did 2 endowments each so got 8 done. I went out and took some pictures while the ladies and Tony finished getting ready to leave.
I love Spring at the temple. It's so colorful.
We stopped at THE HABBIT for lunch.
SATURDAY:
I was tired on Friday after  the temple and so we went to bed at 6. I had taken a shower and then Tony read our COME FOLLOW ME reading assignment and we said our prayers and I was out like a light. We got up at 4am and went back to the temple for our shift. We were there at 5:30 am and Tony and I had our last assignment at 10am. It was a couple who had been married for 10 years and they were sealed to each other and had their 8 year old daughter sealed to them as well. It was so beautiful and brought back sweet memories of when we were all sealed to our parents. We didn't get out till 12:30. We came home and I made funeral potatoes and mac & cheese and sticky buns for tomorrows dinner. We will bake it all tomorrow after church as well as spare ribs. After I got things prepared, we picked up Joyce & Lynn and went to the Stake Center for a walk through of THE LIVING CHRIST.
It was done so well! We went into 4 different rooms starting with the Saviors birth in Bethlehem. Then to the things he taught to his followers and his disciples. Then to the chapel to see his trial and crucifixion. The last (and all of my pictures ) was in the cultural hall. There were SO MANY beautiful pictures and items that were significant to that period of time.

There were big posters and displays of  things such as the passover, the cleansing of the temple, the last supper and garden of Gethsemane

We got a picture in front of the picture of the CHRISTAS and the APOSTLES which is at the Rome Italy Temple. I am so glad we went. It was such a wonderful  end to HOLY WEEK. Tomorrow is Easter. The day the Savior was resurrected. I am so grateful for my Savior and all that He has done for me. I love Him!
I KNOW HE LIVES!
Tomorrow we will have our Easter Musical program at church. Afterwards, we'll go to Lynn's and have Easter dinner and a birthday party for Corbin. It has been a wonderful week with lost of celebrations about our Savior, Jesus Christ.
