GYM , YETI VISIT & LAWN DAY

We got up at 7 and got to the gym by 7:25. Pat had done 1 lap but as we walked, she got a phone call and stopped so I walked a lap alone and caught up to her. lol Then we finished our 4 miles together.

Tony was down stairs doing his stretches as I finished , SO I didn't get any weights done but I'm OK with that!  lol

I was feeding the missionaries and Yeti today so I made chocolate chip cookies again, when I got home. I had made the chicken salad last night before bed and so that was done. YAY!  Then I cut up fruit and made a fruit salad with vanilla yogurt dressing. Scott is home alone because Jill and Scotlyn are in Cabo with Jill's mother so I told him to come over if he was in the area. Besides' I wanted him to meet Yeti.  HE DID!! It was great!

The new sister is gluten free so I wasn't sure what she could eat. She was good with the fruit salad but didn't eat the croissant and she ate the chicken salad without bread. We had ice-cream for dessert with cookies and I had gluten free Oreo's for her. I didn't think she could have the ice-cream BUT she said she could. lol 

We had a good discussion with Yeti. They talked about the questions that will be asked him before his baptism. He is just so cool. He's so honest and forthcoming. Scott & him got along so well!

After they all left, we got busy on the yards. Tony edged the yard and I mowed.  (Our yard)  Tony mowed Joyce & Lynn's.

It makes it so much easier to mow after he's edged!!

I got the front done and started on the back. My 2 pots with a perennial in them (and I can't remember the name) but they were looking pretty sick. SO, I cut them back.

One looks like it might make it but the other one pulled completely out so I'll have to find something else to put in that pot!

Some of my strawberries are looking OK but some not so much. Hopefully they will come back as they take root.

All my peonies are coming along swell!

And my Basket of Gold is pure gold! I love it!!

Then when I finished pulling some weeds  I came in and showered. I had a RS meeting at 6 and now I'm home  and relaxing. Bed time soon. It's been a good day!
