It's been a busy day, getting ready to go to Mom's memorial tomorrow. We got up at 6:30, ate a quick breakfast and at 7:20 we headed to Meridian to the GLASS DOCTOR to get our windshield replaced. We only had a $50 dollar deductible so it was great. They opened at 8 and traffic was terrible but we made it a few minutes before and were able to drop it off and leave. We went directly to the gym and Pat came late so she could walk with me. She's such a good friend. We walked our 4 miles and Tony said while he was walking, they called him and said it was done. So after we finished at the gym, we went right back to Meridian (traffic was awesome then) and picked up the car. The new windshield is perfect. We came home and Tony left to take Joyce to Les Schwab to have her tires checked. Everything is good and she was so relieved. They said when her and her daughter get back in town in 2 weeks to come in and they'll rotate them. Then Tony went to Boise to pick up Lona at the airport.
While he was gone, I made the puffed wheat goodies for Mom's memorial. Rick thought it would be good if some of us could bring things that mom use to make for the dinner. I made two batches so I got another container after I filled this one. I made us some lunch when Tony got back and then cleaned up the kitchen. We relaxed for a bit before Tony went up to shower (I did while he was gone) and I painted my nails (Hands and toes) and got ready to go to a RS Presidency meeting at 6:30.
While I was gone, Tony finished his puzzle and was so disgusted because ONE piece was missing. He looked and looked but decided it wasn't in the box at all. When I got home, I put in a load of wash and emptied and loaded the dishwasher again. Time for bed so I can get up early to go get my infusion and then we can head out!
Will have a lot to post when I return on Sunday.
