USING UP PRODUCE FROM JOYCE'S HOME

We got to the gym before 7 this morning because we had to get home in time to take Lona to the airport. It was a beautiful day as the sun came up. A bit of a breeze and cool!

BUT, still a very beautiful day! We walked our 4 miles and then Pat and I walked out to our cars. I thought Tony would already be there but he was stretching.

As I waited for him, a tow truck pulled in and loaded a truck that was beside me.

It made for an interesting wait. lol  We got home and ate a quick breakfast and then went over to pick up Lona. We got her to the airport and unloaded and then we went to run some errands. We stopped at the Deseret Book and Tony got a new white suit for the temple. I tried to find the book for book club in November, but no luck. We went back to Nampa and I got some new light bulbs for my Scentsy burners. Then to DI to see if they possibly had the book I'm looking for....no luck. So, home we went.

I am trying to use up all the produce I got from Lona. It's actually fresh stuff they bought while they were cleaning out Aunt Joyce's home after her death. I had 4 lemons that needed to be used so I made lemon bars. I got oatmeal that I am using tomorrow to make apple crisp for Sunday. I got cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, baby tomatoes, lettuce and celery, that I'll make a salad with for Sunday. Yeti is making scalloped potatoes and I'm making a pork roast. I'll have to figure out a vegetable but that's not a concern.  I have been working on some more cards and finished them last night except for the insides. I started on them this afternoon but at 3 we went to Lynn's and helped Deb and Mom clean up the dinner Deb made yesterday. Then we had raspberry's and angel food cake. We came home and I'm doing a load of laundry before bed.

AND, I finished the cards. I like them.

It's fun to have some time to work on cards again. I love making them and it's therapeutic.  lol
