Today was a busy day for Tony and I. We ran some errands in the morning getting the last minute things accomplished that we needed to before Tony
flys out. At 2 PM we went to Ellie's school program. We arrived as it was just starting so consequently, we sat at the very back so I was unable to get a very good picture of her. Her eyes look like a zombie! It was called STONE SOUP and short but sweet!
The teacher said that's what ya wanted with 1st graders!
lol We left immediately afterwards (well, we visited with Melissa for 10 or 15 minutes 1st) and then drove to Boise to Colby and Krista's. We played with
Nephi and I was on hand to watch Krista make her famous Pizza Ring!
It was
fascinating! She is quite the little Betty
Crocker!
While Krista cooked, ...... Tony and I
dooled with
Nephi's Nerf Guns! We had a blast playing with his toys! He's got some great ones!
lol Awhhhhhh, dinner is served! And it was delicious!
After dinner we celebrated
Nephi's 4
th BIRTHDAY! It's really on Monday but they wanted Grandpa to be able to share in the fun! It was a great party!
Nephi opening his present from Mom and Dad! It was a Marble Run.
Here's Colby and grandpa putting it together! I think they had as much fun as
Nephi did!
It was a great last day! We made the most of our time together. Good thing cuz it will have to last us for another 4 months or so!
Sounds like the next R&R is going to be overseas! I'll keep ya posted!

Sounds like it was a very fun evening! Oh my gosh, my kids are going to love playing with that marble toy when they go over there next time. My grandparents in Utah have a marble toy and that's one thing that Nikki remembers about going to their house, is playing with the marble toy. And that pizza ring looks soooooo yummy! I'm jealous! My dinner last night consisted of chicken Ramen noodle soup and cornbread. Even Garrett is getting tired of Ramen and he doesn't like cornbread either. So I made him a corn dog and he was happy. LOL
So glad you and Dad have had such a good time during his vacation. A cruise sounds like a good idea for the next one. Wish we could have done that. Darn debt!
say what?! where are you going overseas?
So glad you and Dad were able to visit everyone while Dad was here. Glad Nephi had a good birthday. And I ask the same question - what cruise? Where are you going?
