YELLOWSTONE VACATION ~ DAY TWO

Tony and I arrived in Yellowstone Saturday night around 8PM. By the time we unloaded our things into the condo, we were ready for bed. Sunday morning we got up and went to the Yellowstone Ward. IT WAS AWESOME!! It was Fast Sunday and with all the tourists, there had to be between 6 and 7 hundred in attendance! The spirit was so strong. It is wonderful to be able to go anywhere and attend church and feel the truthfulness of the gospel. We were truly uplifted!

After church we did a little looking around town to see what there was to do. We ended up going to the IMAX to watch a movie about YELLOWSTONE. (it was so cool but I found myself a little light headed in spots) Then we went to a grocery store and bought a steak and a potato ...........

We went back to the condo to prepare dinner. This resort was the 1st one we've been to where the grill wasn't on our patio. So Tony had to go down to the yard to grill the steaks.

The cool thing was that our room was on the 3rd floor and it looked right out to where Tony was preparing the meat. SO, while he grilled, I cooked the baked potato and some corn on the cob (we brought from home) and I set the table on the patio and watched my sweet husband grill and visit with others who were cooking too. Dinner was delicious by the way!!

I kept telling Tony that I really wanted to see a grizzly bear (but from the safety of our car) HOWEVER, after dinner we walked to a Grizzly/Wolfe Education Center and we were fortunate to see them there. After I saw the size of the bear, I was glad to have them enclosed .....lol   Check out the crow in the right corner. They were all over the place. lol

The bears were so entertaining! There were 5 of them and 2 were brothers. (Roosevelt & Grant) They played together and wrestled and we had a blast watching them!

Next we went to watch the Wolves!  They were a bit boring .... not scary like in the movies! lol  It was a fun day! Just checking out West Yellowstone and all the stores was a lot of fun. Next home to rest up for out 1st BIG DAY in the park on Monday.
