OUR TRIP TO ARIZONA FOR HAWKIN'S BAPTISM

Tony and I flew down to Tucson on Friday the 1st of November for Hawkins baptism. Jill picked us up at the airport and we drove to Sierra Vista (an hour away) When we got there Chris and Princess were already there. It was so good to see them all. Jill had a soccer game on Friday night so Princess & Tony opted to stay home with the kids while Scott, Chris and Tristan and I went to her game. The dessert gets a bit cool in the evenings in November  lol  so we didn't stay for the entire game.

Saturday morning we went to a park where Scotlyn had a soccer game! (It runs in the family)  Chris and Ari were running and playing while Scotlyn played her game.

Scotlyn is a fierce little soccer player just like her mommy! She said she was going to try and get 3 goals for the game. She did get one!  I was impressed that she set herself goals! Here she's enjoying a treat during a break!!

After the game we all went home and got cleaned up for the baptism. It was a nice small family affair. Hawk was the only one getting baptized that day and we were just so grateful that he put it off till we could be there with him.

His feet came up the 1st time so he got to do it twice. He told his dad earlier that he hadn't taken a bath for a long time (they shower lol)   Scott said he hoped the water didn't turn brown.

We got a nice family photo of us all afterwards! Don't cha love the look on Hawkins face!!

After the baptism we went to Golden Corral for dinner and then home to watch the BSU/BYU game.  I took a picture of Claire and she is growing up so fast. She is definitely a teen now. On her cell phone and I pod all the time. lol

Sunday morning before church Tony and Chris and I took Ari and Tristan on a walk through Scotts neighborhood.  All the slabs of rock on Scott's driveway are going in his backyard for a fire pit and extended patio. Maybe we'll see that the next time we go down.

Mostyn showing me his awards for a spelling and geography bee as well as his trophy for sports

Tristan  A Little Sharp Dressed Man!

The three little ones getting horsy rides on Grandpa Tony's legs!  They wore him out but sure had fun doing so.

Chris and Princess and Tony and I had to leave on Monday so Scott wanted to take us to Ramsey's Canyon for a nice little hike before we all had to take off. It was beautiful! We saw lizards, butterflies and deer while we hiked. The fall colors were gorgeous too.  As were my two beautiful daughter in laws!
It was an interesting place ( a sort of nature reserve) but it had a couple of old cabins as well as this fire place out in the middle of no where. Evidently the home burned down but the fire place remained. Good place for a photo shoot! All the other kids were in school. By the way..... Hawkins and Scotlyns school was on lock down that morning because a bear was at the school. It had come down from the mountains and right into town!    WILD!!

There was a nice man on the hike that took our picture.

Princess and Ari coming down the path ....... just about to the beginning of the end of the trail......  lol

And we have to say goodbye!!    Chris and Princess left just before Scott and Scotlyn drove us to Tucson to catch our plane. Tristan gave me a big kiss before he got in the car and drove away!!
It was a wonderful trip and sooooooo good to see the boys and their wonderful families! Till we meet again and I hope it's soon!!
