CELEBRATING ANNIVERSARYS AND BIRTHDAYS !~

Art and Lynn (my in-laws) are celebrating 66 years together and kindly invited us to go to dinner with them after we got home from work last night to help them celebrate.  We gladly excepted!!Tony is working in Ontario Oregon right now (10 hour days) so he doesn't get home till 5PM. They came to pick us up and arrived before Tony got home from work. We discussed where we were going to go and Lynn said she wanted  Thailand Express or the Olive Garden.  (Both good in my opinion) Art loves hamburgers and wanted just that!!~ AND SAID SO .....
Then Tony got home and ran upstairs to shower and change and then when he came down he asked where we were going. Lynn told him the choices and again Art said... "I want a hamburger" We said "It's your anniversary, your choice."  so we decided to go to RED ROBIN   lol, so Art could have his burger!  Lynn asked Tony to drive and he did. We are driving down the boulevard and everyone was visiting and all of a sudden Tony is turning to go over to the Costco area and I asked "Where are you going?" ...... Tony realized at that time that he was headed towards Olive Garden and Red Robin was the opposite direction ....  We were all laughing as we passed Texas Roadhouse when Lynn said we could go there and Art could get his burger.  I said that I had my "birthday coupon" from Texas Roadhouse so we could celebrate their anniversary and my birthday all at the same time!! SO, that's what we did!

HOWEVER,  Art didn't get his burger!!~  Will have to make a special point to go out and get one for him sometime soon.  We all had the special which was a steak and shrimp and 2 sides!~  He was OK with that.  We filled up on peanuts and rolls before the meal came so ended up taking a lot of it home! But it sure was good and we had a great time together. Tonight we'll go to the temple with them after work. It's great to have family and friends to do things with. We seem to stay busy doing just that.  We have "GAME NIGHT" on Saturday with the Jarrett's and Suggs. It's always fun. BUT,  I really need a free Saturday one of these weekends soon. I seriously need to clean my windows and pantry before winter!! There's always too much to do and not enough time!! Don't know if my windows and pantry can wait till I retire, but they may have to!  lol
