It appears that I am having "Steroid Withdrawals" in the form of joint pain!! I CAN'T WALK!!
I'm serious. My left hip had been hurting and I thought it was from the fall I sustained at the family reunion in McCall. However, I did go to the chiropractor and he did an adjustment and I was feeling better until about Thursday of last week. I noticed that the pain was now on my right hip and I wondered why and how it could move like that (especially since I fell on the left hip) .... anyway, it got progressively worse until Saturday I could not hardly walk!! I ended up using my walker that I used when I had my knee surgery just to get around the house !! Today I am at work but I am on crutches!! I did a little research on line about Prednisone and the side effects of coming off it and sure enough ONE is joint pain!! Then I talked to a lady at church and she said her mother had been on it and she had the same problem when they took her off it. She went in and got some kind of shot to ease the pain. And believe me, it is PAINFUL!!
I am calling the doctor this morning to see if anything can be done. This is getting ridiculous!!
It's one thing after another!!
