A NEW VT ROUTE!~

We had a Ward split at the end of 2016 and I lost my Visiting Teaching Partner!~
I had visited my ladies by myself in January and February and I was given a new partner a couple of weeks ago, as well as a new list of ladies!  (excepting one)  They left Suzy Q with me and I am glad of that! When we 1st started to visit her, she would just talk to us on her porch. After several months, she started inviting us in (but we are never invited to sit down) and now she has been given a calling in the Scouts and her husband is a Varsity Coach. They are the sweetest couple with 2 really nice boys! Suzy had a hysterectomy last month and me and several other sisters brought food in to her for several days. Later I brought her a gift basket with several things in it she could use while laying in bed recouperating. After a few weeks I invited her to come to the R.S. BIRTHDAY DINNER and she said she would love to get out of the house. I picked her up and brought her home early as she was getting uncomfortable. It is great to see how friendly she has become since our 1st visit with her so I am glad she is still on my route.
My new partner is Peggy L. She is a kick in the pants! I love her. We went on Wednesday night and I made these little cards that held a chocolate and a note telling the new ladies our names and phone numbers and how happy we are to be their new Visiting Teachers!

I loved going with Melody but now that she is in a new ward, I am going to throughly enjoy going with Peggy and the 3 new sister's we've been assigned PLUS my gal Suzy! All active except for Suzy Q but she is a wonderful lady and I'm glad she is still on my beat!~
