DEREK AND FAMILY VISIT !~

We got a call from Mom Norton Saturday morning. I was up but Tony was still in bed. (He'd had a rough night)  Anyway, Mom invited us over for breakfast. She said Derek and Rachel had come to town to see the Glaettli's (Rachel's parents) who had recently

 returnned from their 2nd mission and the kids were coming to see them.



When we got there we found out that they were getting together for a brunch and so they weren't eating. Not a problem! We had plans to go to Andrew's Birthday party at "CHUCK O RAMA" at 1:30 in the afternoon so didn't want to eat a big breakfast anyway. We had a good visit with Derek and Gideon and Teancum. Found out that they had reserved two rooms at a hotel in Nampa and when they arrived found out only one room was available. Derek and the two boys went to Grandma and Grandpa's at midnight to see if they could spend the night. Of course they did and them Saturday morning we went over.
We had a short visit and then the boys left for the brunch and we went home and then went to Andrew's Birthday Party. After the party we went back to the folks home because a lot of the family went to see "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST" but the boys didn't want to.

 

We got to see Helaman on this visit. It was nice to visit with them. After the movie let out, Derek and the boys had to go pick up Rachel and Sarah and so we weren't able to see either of them. They spent the rest of the time with the Glaettli's and then went back  late to Art and lynn's for the night. They left Sunday morning around 11AM to head back to Utah. We didn't see them again as we were at church.

Wish we could have seen the girls but maybe next time. We have this family in our prayers always.
