SUNDAY DRIVE~

I was tending Scott and Jill's kids this past week on Thursday, Friday and till 1 on Saturday. Traci called and asked if Hawkins could spend the night with them on Friday and drive to Shosnone Falls on Saturday morning with her, Andrew and the girls. I said I was sure it was OK but I checked with his parents and they said he could. Traci sent me a video of the falls and I was dying to see them for myself.  Saturda, when I got home, I asked Tony if we could drive down after church on Sunday and he said Yes!!  We ate a quick bite after church at his mom and dad's home
 and then the 4 of us took the drive!
When we got a mile from the park we ran into a zillion cars waiting in line to get into the park to see the falls. His parents thought we should turn around and go home but Tony said
 "I drove 2 1/2 hours to see them so by darn, I'm gonna see them!"
 I was glad he insisted because I wanted to see them so bad !!
 AND they were so worth it!!

When we finally got into the park itself (after paying $3.00) it still took us about 20 minutes to get down to the lower parking lot. A police officer pulled up beside us on a motorcycle and said the lot was full but we could turn around and park in the higer lot. Tony told me to get out with his folks and he would go park the car and walk down.  HOWEVER, Dad refused to get out!! Anyway, mom and I walked down to the first lookout and Tony was with us in a short time as he was able to park in the lower lot when someone pulled out.

There are several vantage points to look at the falls and they are all breathtaking!

And there were so many visitors there so it was so easy to get someone to take a picture for us!

Mom went to sit in the car with Dad and Tony and I took a little hike to a higher vantage point. Everyone was awesome!



We saw the Twin Falls Temple on the way out of town! It is so beautiful! It was a wonderful way to end ourSabbath day!
