Sunday, we had a lovely EASTER SERVICE. The Davis's spoke on the Atonement and what it means to them. Lori Davis gave an excellent talk and it was very moving. It meant so much to be able to take the Sacrament and to renew our covenants we made at baptism. The choir sang 2 songs and the message of the song hit me and I had a hard time singing. The Savior suffered so much for all of us. He died and rose on the 3rd day. HE LIVE'S and I am so grateful for my testimony of his divinity and his mission. He is my Savior, my Redeemer, my King!

We had some of the family over for dinner. The weather was iffy on Saturday so we set up tables in the house. It was pretty crowded but we managed. There were 25 of us
(however Baby Alice didn't sit up to the table... lol)
We had Mom and Dad Norton, Bob and Joyce Haverfield,
Scott and Jill, Claire, Mostyn, Hawkins and Scotlyn.
Chris and Tammy, Katelynn, Corbin, Anna and Tony.
Curtis and Deedra, Nikki, Garrett, Jack, Charlotte and baby Alice.
After dinner, we went outdoors and had an Easter Egg Hunt. |

And there's the smile!
I realized I had the wrong setting on my camera, .......hence the blue pictures!
It really wasn't that gloomy of a day! lol
BUT, I figured it out for the family picture below! |
|
We got a family picture of those in attendance. (Minus Bob and Joyce and Anna and little Tony)
It was a good day and a fun time!~
After the egg hunt, we celebrated Corbin's 4th birthday! It's actually this Thursday the 20th {same as Christa Stewart} but since there were so many of us together, we celebrated early with Mini cupcakes and ice cream!
Wish we could celebrate with Christa as well! Wishing her a wonderful day too! |
