YW/YM FUNDRAISER!~

Last Friday night we went to a fundraiser for Nikki at the church. It was a wonderful dinner, auction, games and a movie for the kids!

They were having an auction for the desserts. I made two buckets of caramel popcorn and donated them.

Deedra asked me for my Coconut Poke Cake recipe and she made that.
(upper picture) It was beautiful!

There were so many delicious looking desserts. We ended up getting the brownies with the white drizzle frosting and white chips on top, (pictured above) They were so moist and delicious!

I put my caramel popcorn in 2 ice-cream buckets and decorated the top with a decorative paper and curled ribbons on the side. I also typed out the recipe and put it on the fron to cover up the lable of the ice-cream. I thought if they went for $10 or $15 dollars, that would be good!
BOY, WAS I SURPRISED WHEN THEY BOTH SOLD FOR $110 DOLLARS A PIECE!!!

The dinner was really really good! The pulled pork sandwiches had fried bacon as well as ham slices on top! I'd never had it like that and it was so tasty! We had a good family turnout as Chris and Tammy and family attended as well as Curtis's parents and Tony's parents came with us too.

The kids enjoyed the cake and brownies we bid on!

There was a pie eating contest which was
 very entertaining!

Their Bishop (who is the head right in front of the red headed boy with his face right in the pie) was the winner!  The little boy next to him came in 2nd! The man in the red shirt was 3rd and the gentleman standing on the left came in last! It was pretty funny and fun to watch!

Tony bid on this beautiful "Chocolate Cherry Cake" and we got it for $30 bucks! It was very very good! Even after sharing, we had enough for dinner with his parents on Sunday and another piece each on Monday! I even got the plate it was on! BONUS!~

Little Alice had fun too! It was a really fun evening and we all had a very enjoyable time!~
