A CAN BLOW UP .....LITERALLY!~

A funny thing happened ......well, I can laugh about it now.  I got into my pantry and I had a can of baking powder that had bludged on both ends. It was from our THRIVE food storage. Tony told me to put it on the kitchen counter. He said he would call THRIVE when he got home and ask for it to be be replaced. He was true to his word. He had the guy on the phone and was telling him about the problem. It was on speaker so I asked the man if it was still usable, after all it's a powder. Why would it be bad??  He said he thought we should just throw it out......

So Tony was giving him the specifics on the item, when it was purchased, what the item number was etc..... I'm in the kitchen thinking " If it did this to a can, I'll bet biscuits would raise super good" ......

THE REST IS HISTORY!!   I popped the lid and BOOM!!  Tony yells ..."WHAT DID YOU DO??"
The man on the phone says
"WHAT HAPPENED?  DID IT EXPLODE?"
Awhhhh yep!  My BAD!

Man, what a mess!!  We had baking powder on EVERYTHING!!   I was cleaning up the mess for 3 days straight! SERIOUSLY!!  It did have a plus .... my house is pretty darn clean now!  lol

LESSON LEARNED...Never Ever open a bulged can!
