WELCOME TO MJ & HIS BACKUP DANCER

Christa and the boys finally showed up on Saturday afternoon. Those two little guys were so excited to be in Seaside with their cousins! We helped them load their cart and showed them to their condo and Maddox and Paxson were thrilled to ride the cart in the elevator!

Check out the gin on Paxson!
That smile says it all!

Maddox is a Michael Jackson "Wanna Be" and let me tell you....
                          HE IS GOOD!
We got together in the evening in Heather's condo and he performed
                                       "SMOOTH CRIMINAL"
He's got it down pat and for a 5 year old, that's saying a lot!

Paxson was his back up dancer an he was stinkin cute!

We visited and were entertained by the wee ones and planned some more activities for the next day!
It would be Sunday and Sawyer's 6th Birthday. Heather wanted everyone to come to her condo for a donut breakfast. After breakfast we would go to
Tapiola Park in Astoria and let the kids run off some excess energy (from the sugar High donuts)  lol

Tony and I chose to go to the Astoria Ward for church and we met the kids at the Park after Sacrament meeting.
My sister in law, Wendy designed the Park and helped raise money to build it! What a beautiful job she did. It was designed with a lot of the significant historic sites in Astoria, A River Pilot Boat, The Flavel House, Fort Clatsop and the Column! Amongst the historic pieces, there are swings, slides and bridges etc. The kids had a blast playing.

Traci was caught swinging.....

Isabel, Maddox and Sophia on the slide!

Tristan and Scotlyn stopped long enough for me to take a picture then hurriedly ran off in a game of Tag!

The entrance to FORT CLATSOP! It is surrounded by fence posts that have names of workers and donators! There were a lot of BEREZAY'S!
PRETTY COOL to say the least!

Scotlyn taking a breather on the "Monkey Bars"

And Tristan at the bottom of the tube slide!

Sawyer and (blurry) Rowan who stopped in time for a brief picture
and then was off again in a
flash!~

The BEAUTIFUL TAPIOLA PARK!

Paxson in his cute little hat!
He was more OK with me this trip.
AND I'm OK WITH THAT!

This is the part of the park that represents the FLAVEL HOUSE.
The home itself is located in Astoria and was the home of the famous River Captain Mr. Flavel!
The home is a museum now and very interesting to see.
