My goodness, it seems some weeks like there just aren't enough hours in a day!! I didn't have time to post anything yesterday but we were busy. Gym, then yard work and then I had a meeting last night. We got up this morning, and went to the gym this. I walked outside and decided to change it up a bit and walked the path but detoured into a portion of the building where the kids often go out to play.
It added a good 700 steps to my walk. Maybe even more. None the less, I had my 10,000 plus steps after 5 laps. I then went to th car and read my book till Tony came out which wasn't too long. I am listening to General Conference talks again and loving every minute of it.
We are having a meeting Sunday morning at 10 am with the Elders to choose the ones we want to use in RS and Elder's Quorum for the next 6 months lessons. After we got home, I made some French Toast for breakfast and then started processing more tomatoes to freeze. Tony went out to work on the cement barrier he wanted to build between ours and the neighbors yards. I also started my laundry. I had 3 loads to do. I get a call from Anna, and she asked if she could come over. Of course, I said yes.
I went out to tell Tony she was on her way over and to check on his progress with the barrier. It looks good! I went in and hurriedly finished up the tomatoes and started on a batch of Oatmeal muffins. Anna came and told me she has quit her job and was heading back down to Pocatello to see her son. He was taken out of the facility he was in and put back in a hospital. He evidently took a knife to a classmate. It was a butter knife but still, damage can be done. Anna starts her new job in Boise on Monday. She had been back to the Orchard apartments and got her name on a waiting list. She wants to be back in our ward. She said she will be able to attend as she will be working Monday thru Friday! Here's hoping. She stayed about an hour and a half and then said she was going back to Pocatello. She'll be coming home on Saturday sometime. I loaded her up with Butternut squash and we said our goodbyes.
After she left, Brian Preece showed up to install our air filter system. Its supposed to clean the air and get rid of all the bacteria etc. Hope it works!! I worked on my laundry and started lunch. I was making a Swiss Cheese Quiche.
I went out to tell Tony to come in for dinner as soon as Brian left. His barrier looks great!
He was trimming the front cherry tree and it sure needed it!!
It kept hitting me in the head when I was mowing the lawn yesterday.
He came in and we ate the quiche . He went out to finish loading the branches and I finished my last load of laundry. Now, time to clean up and get ready for the Stake Women's Conference tonight. I have to pick up Joyce and Lynn and be their chauffer.
