MONDAY ACCOMPLISHMENTS!~ AND 1st DAY OF SPRING!~

Wasn't sure I wanted to go to the REC CENTER this morning but I made myself go!! Tony was doing weights as well as walking so I knew I'd be there extra long. I walked and continued to walk as he did his weights. I got in 4 miles today so that's an improvement over 3. I had lots of friends who walked with me and talked with me and said how glad they were that I was back! That made me feel good! It was raining a little bit when we got to the gym and raining even harder when we left. I LOVE SPRING !!  We stopped at Jennifer Brown's and Gena Hallenberger's, on our way home so I could drop off a birthday card and a Butternut squash and recipe for their birthdays.  When we got home, I made us a fried egg, bacon and hash browns for breakfast. Then I cleaned up the kitchen while Tony went to his moms to help her with a bunch of paperwork she was getting rid of.  It took him a long time and he's still not done.

I made myself a cup of hot chocolate as I am freezing today. I am always cold after my workout but extra cold today as it is wet outside. Then I went up stairs and got a birthday card ready to mail to Andrew. I'm sure I won't see him so decided to get it in the mail today. Then I got brave and worked on the slip for the Temple dress I

bought.                      I DID IT!!  

  I put elastic around the waist of the 2nd dress, tried it on and it worked!! Then I cut the bodice off of the dress and now I have a slip to wear under this dress with the same lace and now it's comfortably long enough!!  I'm a  happy camper! 

Will wear it on Thursday!!

While Tony was gone, I found some card bases that I had cut and folded that I decided to put together with some dies I had put together from an earlier time..... There are eleven of them so still working on them. 

It was a different fold with a decorative edge I'd cut into them. Decided to finally do something with them and get them out of my way! lol  Gives me something to do while the hubs is gone. He just called and said he was just finishing up at his moms. He's going to COSTCO to pick up my prescription refill and will pick us up a CHICK FIL A salad!!  YAY!~

He will get NO complaints from me!!

It was DELICIOUS!!

As usual!!  AND, he bought both salads today with points! COOL!

We ate dinner around 4PM, and watched Hawaii Five O and I finished up the cards. Now, it's time for scripture reading and beddie bye! I have to see the rheumatologist tomorrow so will go to the gym afterwards. It's been a good day!
