GOT OUR FENCE DONE!

My husband is pretty funny! Yesterday he asked me if I would JUST help him in the morning with the string line for the fence. I said I would so after we got up at 7 this morning, we ate a quick bite and were outside before 8am. The string line was a cinch and took very little time. I'm not stupid. lol He really wanted me out there to help put up the fence. When I told him he was stringing me along with that line, he burst out laughing. 

I took a shot of the African daisy that Belle , Sophia and Traci gave me for Mother's Day. It's growing really good and I love it.

This is what we started with today.

We had all the fence boards stored in the new shed we got this spring. So, we started by loading a bunch onto our big wagon, pulling them to the patio and then Tony would cut about 6 of them at a time. I would bring the to him and he would screw them in. He's very precise and used his level on each one.

When we got close to being done with one load,  I would pull the wagon back to the shed and we'd load it up again. 

I would load 6 of them onto the saw. Some were still kinda wet and were heavy so I took about 3 at a time and then Tony would cut! 

He said he was really glad I helped him because it made the job go so much faster. Pat was willing to wait till we were done before going to the gym. It was so much cooler in the morning as well.

Making progress and we could see a light at the end of the tunnel. 

When we got to the end of the project, I just carried out what boards we needed. No sense in pushing that big ole wagon.

Finally, the board we were looking for!!

Tony had to do a little fancy work around the bolts on the gate but he worked his magic and it fit together really well. He also cut a fence board in half to finish off the end. We are going to replace the gate boards too, but not today!  We finished up, cleaned up the tools etc and then headed to the gym. We walked our 4 miles and then went to COSTCO to fill the car up with gas and get a couple of things inside.

Even our COSTCO is remodeling. They are adding a big section onto the side and also a section in the back. Not sure what it will be used for but it'll be interesting when it's all done.  We came home, ate, showered and now we are resting the remainder of the day.
