This is the red fence that we replaced a year ago. Then when we went to get fence for the rest of the fence this year, we couldn't get the red. So we bought the gold.
The red part was bugging Tony a lot.
So today after the gym, Tony went out to replace it with the gold. He tore them all off yesterday. Before leaving for SILVER SISTERS, I took a picture of my handy man!!
Pat showed up at 10:15. We went to pick up Lynn and off we went.
It was decorated beautifully!!
All the ladies wore patriotic shirts. My friend Pat, seated by Shelly.
Carol Ross and her daughter Debbie. Carol had shoulder surgery and Debbie has been here helping her. She lives in North Carolina. The women behind them all told stories of women in American history. It was so interesting. Between speakers, we all sang Patriotic songs.

After the speakers and singing, we ate the good ole American meal. Hot dogs, potato salad, chips, watermelon and cake. It was good and fun. It took me a long time to convince Pat to come to theses with me, but I kept asking and she finally did. She has enjoyed them so much that now she looks forward to them every month. Today, they said we would take the summer off and won't have another one till September. Pat was so dissapointed. lol
We dropped Lynn off at home after the event and then came home. Tony took a picture of us.

We liked our patriotic shirts. Pat tried to get us matching ones but she couldn't find them. I got mine on line and I like it.
When Pat went home, I got on CHAT GBT and made this one.
HOW FUN IS THAT!! SO GRATEFUL TO BE AN AMERICAN.
