DATE NIGHT WITH THE HENDRICKS

Last night (Tuesday) we picked up Larry and Zella Hendricks and took to them to the Temple Open House. Zella just had surgery so was recovering but they were anxious to go when we asked them. It was a very busy night and it was cold outside. At bit confusing in the Stake House as people were going all directions and not as reverent as we would like but the Temple itself was fantastic! We didn't get a talking tour so Tony tried to explain things as quietly as he could.  After wards we went to Chuck A Rama and ate dinner and asked them if they had any questions. Larry said not at the moment but he was amazed to see that the inside had  so many rooms and not one big chapel!  We told him it is not like a Cathedral or a Mosque. It has lots of rooms for instruction and worship. It was great to be able to take them and I am looking forward to sharing this beautiful place with  more friends next week.
