PACKIN A LOT INTO A WEEKEND !~

Tony didn't have to work last Friday and when I got home from work he asked if I would cut his hair.  I said I would but I wanted to be paid!!  He asked how much and I said I wanted to go to a movie!!  lol  He gladly accepted my offer so we went to see "JACK THE GIANT SLAYER"   We both thought it was a pretty cute take on "Jack and the Bean Stock!"
When we got home we watched the the last Twilight movie. After all, it was the weekend and we could sleep in on Saturday!  lol

Saturday morning we got up and I started my Saturday routine! Laundry and cleaning  house. Tony had made arrangements with the Hendrix (a couple he home teaches)  to go to another matinee movie at noon. I had to hustle in order to get everything done before we left.  I wanted to drop by Tammy's to give her a birthday gift before we picked them up. Her birthday was last Wednesday and we didn't have a chance to go over and wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

So HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TAMMY!  We visited with her and Katelynn for a short time and then headed to pick up Larry and Zella!

The paper didn't give the movie very good reviews but we all enjoyed it and thought it was entertaining.  It was fun to spend some time with the Hendrix. Larry had another bout with his pancreas and has been recouping from surgery so he was glad to get out of the house.  We invited them to eat lunch with us at" Blazing Burgers" after the movie but Larry is on such a restricted diet and he was tired so we took them home. THEN, Tony and I went to get a burger. We took it home and ate it while watching the BSU basketball team beat San Diego State.  I told Tony I wanted to go to the temple after the game because the day was still young!!  lol   We got dressed in our Sunday best and off we went. Made the 5PM session.

It was as great start to the weekend!!  Sunday was a busy one with all the meetings I had to attend. I was at church for 6 hours. ( I know,  I NEED IT!  lol)  When we finally got home, we headed over to Art and Lynn's for our weekly FHE. I had to bring a salad, Joyce brought a  cake and homemade ice cream and Mom Norton made chicken and noodles and cheese biscuits. After dinner, Tony gave us another good lesson on Marriage Relationships and then we played UNO. Tony won nearly every hand!!!  It just wasn't in the cards for me (or anyone else for that matter)  so I called it quits at 8:30.  The time change hit Sunday morning and loosing that extra hour was hard on me too so I wanted to go home to bed! It was a great weekend and now we're back at it ......on the job!!
