CINCO DE MAYO WEEKEND

Tony and I had a busy weekend but it was fun filled! Although Friday night, I had an upset stomach so we just watched TV and rested. Tony ate but I sipped on 7UP and ate a few soda crackers.
Luckily, Saturday I felt great so we went and did some service (well Tony did the service but I tagged along)  He installed a new ballast in my friend Kim's kitchen. Then we went to see Ray Bingham and he gave electrical advice to Ray because he is helping his next door neighbor with a kitchen remodel.
We came home and cleaned up to go to dinner and a movie with the Chandlers.

We went to Garretts soccer game 1st and watched Garrett score his 1st goal since beginning soccer! We all cheered and he was so proud! It was cute.
We then headed to Boise and ate at Chuck A Rama and then went to the Host.
Both  Cynthia and I had read the book so we were excited to see the movie. It was surprizingly good and we ALL enjoyed it. Even the men!!

Sunday was Cinco De Mayo and we were going to have a "Linger Longer" dinner after church. I had made a Chicken Rice Mexican dish for it. However we were called and invited to go to Clint and Heidi Nieder's home and celebrate Joyce Haverfield's birthday.  (Heidi's mother and Tony's aunt)
We did and it was a very enjoyable afternoon.  They BBQed burgers and hotdogs and there were salads, potato fries, and our dish and it was all yummy!

Art and Lynn had to be home by 7PM because Brother Garrison wanted to bring over a couple he knows who are interested in doing Family History. We took them home and they asked us to stay. We did and we met Jon and Vickie. A very nice couple. We talked about the gospel and the plan of Salvation. It was a very nice evening and the Spirit was felt.
We ended up the night by playing a few hands of UNO.
Now to get some rest and start the week. We need to get our garden planted and plan to start tomorrow night.
