MOTHER'S DAY WEEK END 2013

This past weekend was was one of  tears, joy and rejoicing! We found out on Thursday evening that Tony's niece had lost her sweet baby girl in a tragic accident. Chanelle was only 18 months old.

We went to her viewing on Friday night. She was absolutely beautiful as she lay still in her casket. It was a wonderful reunion with her grandparents, Ken and Cori who now reside in Helena Montana.  It was a very emotional evening but we all realize she is in a much better place and in the arms of her Heavenly Parents and  our Savior.

Saturday, there was a graveside service for Chanelle. It was a beautiful sunny day (actually  HOT) and the service was very nice. There was a lot of people there from family to members of their Kuna Ward. We felt the Love of our Savior and the comfort from the Holy Spirit. We will all miss that sweet little spirit but are so grateful for the knowledge that we will all be reunited if we live as we should.

Sunday was Mother's Day. I was busy at church with a Presidency Meeting and then a Class Presidency meeting before the block even started. Our Ward Council Meeting did get canceled so it wasn't as busy as it could have been. After the block Tony and I got things ready for the get together BBQ with the family.  Art and Lynn and Debbie and Alivia went  to the hospital 1st to see Alisha and her new baby. She buried one on Saturday and welcomed one on  Sunday . Alisha  really experienced the  bitter and the sweet on Mother's Day.

I asked Tony to take a picture of all us MOTHER'S who were at the BBQ  I wished Traci and family could have come but she was made HEAD CHARGE NURSE and she works every other weekend now and this past weekend was it! It was sure a fun day and the kids had a blast in the backyard. They had Blake pull them in our big yard wagon. He has some pretty good horse power!

Lehi was a little warm so he would dip his hands in a glass of water and then wipe it on his hair and face! It was so cute!
Looks like he's licking some of it too! lol
And a VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S Day to my own dear mommy. Although she wasn't there to celebrate with us, I want her to know how much I love and appreciate her. She will be 91 in July and she is an AMAZING woman. She just finished planting her garden and she takes wonderful care of my dear sweet father who will be 93 in November this year. She makes quilts all the time and is always doing service for someone! I only hope I can be 1/2 the woman she is! She is my Great Example and I love her dearly!

PS:  My silly father has someone's wig on this picture. He's a kick in the pants! He has a wonderful sense of humor!
